Sequence 9: Criminal[]

Unlike Prisoners, Criminals do not suppress themselves. They do not feel constrained; their body and heart are ruled by evil desires. Their conscience has not been completely annihilated and their heart is not dead.

New Abilities[1]

  • Weapon Mastery: Regardless of the weapon, be it a knightly sword, a dagger, a longbow, a pistol, a rifle, a six-barrel machine gun, or a spoon; they can utilize all of them to kill a target effectively.
  • Physical Enhancements: They possess a strong body, keen instincts, and a variety of criminal abilities.[2]

Sequence 8: Unwinged Angel (Coldblooded)[]

Becoming an Unwinged Angel means that from that moment forth, they lose their conscience and indulge in their evil desires, with bodies that look even more inhuman.[2]

New Abilities[1]

  • Demonic Spells: They underwent inhuman changes, acquiring two or three Devil spell-like abilities, varying from person to person.[3]
    • Some wielded poisonous flames, others inflicted damaging curses and others summoned a toxic black smoke.

Strengthened Abilities

  • Physical Enhancements: Their bodies are further strengthened. [4]

Sequence 7: Serial Killer[]

New Abilities[1]

  • Demonic Rituals: Serial Killers gain and master all kinds of knowledge and rituals related to devil worship.
    • By creating special or unique killing sprees, they would please and gain favors from Devils.
      • They tend to choose victims who exhibit degraded behaviors, often linked to their personal traumas.[5]
      • If enough time to prepare is given, they can even summon projections of Devils from within the Abyss.[2]
  • Anti-Divination: They can effectively interfere with Divination and Spirit Channeling.[?]
  • Mental Enhancements: Their intelligence and mental capabilities are enhanced to a certain degree.

Sequence 6: Devil[]

Devils biggest weakness is their tendency to easily lose control. Even if they do not lose control, they will often exhibit a kind of insanity that is a culmination of both cruelty and cold-bloodedness. They are very easily possessed and controlled by their desire for blood, murder, and various other things.[1]

New Abilities[1]

  • Danger Premonition (Malicious Perception): They can sense and grasp the place of origin of danger, as well as who this danger is from. In this way, the Devil can precisely devise countermeasures, take revenge, or nip the threat in the bud. Different Devils have different degrees of this intuition.[1]
    • Unlike a Monster's Danger Premonition, theirs doesn’t stem from Fate but from the Abyss.[6]
    • This ability requires three conditions that need to be met.
      1. If an existence is a fatal threat to the Devil, and can cause life-threatening harm to them.
      2. Said existence is intending on doing such harm within a certain period and within a certain range.
      3. Said existence proceeds to actually act upon their intentions.
    • How far into the future the Devil senses the danger, or the "certain period" can range from just a measly few minutes, to a whole 24 hours.[7]
    • The range of a Devil's intuition can span from a few miles to an entire metropolitan area.
    • Apart from being able to sense danger, they aren’t good at Divination or premonition.[8]
  • They can cast innate Flame and Foulness spells.
    • Flame: They can conjure and manipulate many types of flames in a variety of ways.
      • Poisonous Flame Control: It allows a Devil to conjure and manipulate poisonous flames.
      • Sulfur Fireball: It launches a poisonous fireball that can cause a large explosion in addition to burning and poisoning the target. No more than 3 at a time can be launched.
      • Sword of Lava: It conjures a giant flame sword that looks more like a scimitar/cleaver in shape and design. It holds extremely high attack power, one swing is capable of slicing a thick stone pillar in two, and the impact surface will look like it has been seared and melted
      • Volcanic Eruption: It erupts the surrounding ground near a Devil with flames.
      • Flame Prison: It creates a prison of flames used to block targets from escaping.
      • Lethal Poison Steam: It creates an outpour of steam near the targeted area that poisons creatures that happen to be within its area of effect.
    • Language of Foulness: Using the Devil Language filled with filth, foulness, and corruption, they can cast various spells.
      • Slow: Can cause all targets within a 7-8 meter radius to instantly turn numb and slow or even come to a halt, however, it can only be maintained for 2 seconds.
      • Corruption: An area of effect attack that can cause the targeted area to start showing signs and symptoms of Abyssal Corruption.
      • Death: Causes the target's blood to rust and clot, victims will cough out rusted clumps of blood and have rusted red marks on their skin. If the enemy fails to avoid or resist the effect, it can directly cause them to die or become very close to dying.
  • Devil Transformation: They possess the ability to gigantify their bodies, breaking free from their bindings in the morphing transition. This temporarily increases their strength, speed, and defense. Their appearance changes to that of a devil, growing bat wings and goat horns. [4][7]
    • In this form, they can launch 10-20 Sulfur Fireballs simultaneously.
    • Their skin is mutable, equivalent to wearing a layer of hard armor; their blood and flesh can act as a retardant and reduce damage.[7]
    • They are immune to most toxins and do not fear curses or flames within a certain threshold of power level.
  • Combat Proficiency(Hand-to-Hand): They hold strong hand-to-hand combat capabilities.[1]

Strengthened Abilities

  • Mental Enhancements: They don't panic and don't experience fear.[1]
  • Weapon Mastery: They excel at using all kinds of items and objects to cause harm. [1]

Individual differences

  • Different Devils morphed from different species have individual differences. They will obtain unique racial abilities and physiques depending on their previous race.[7]
    • There is a type of special Devil that can freely switch between body and spirit like a Wraith but they’re rather rare.[9]
    • Shadow-Shifter: When forced into a life-threatening situation, this type of Devil can abandon their bodies and leave only a shadow behind.[10]
    • This type of Devil can completely skin humans and perform complicated processes to create Beyonder items with usage or time limitations. No matter who it is, as long as they wear the human skin as clothes, they can transform into the other person and complete the corresponding disguise.
  • "The devil pathway is highly individualistic. Devils from various races each posses their distinct abilities. Even among devils originating from the same race, differences arise due to their individual nature. The reason behind this lies in the requirement of ostentatious malice, which varies from person to creature. Unique wills, distinct hearts, and a penchant for desires all amalgamate to for the diverse nature of devils." - Fors Wall[4]

Sequence 5: Desire Apostle[]

New Abilities[1]

  • Desire Mastery: They can utilize and control every existence's emotions and desires.
    • The Desire Apostle can immediately control that target from afar; they can either bury a Defiling Seed, or just directly catalyze an emotion/desire.
      • The prerequisite is that the target:
        • Manifests a rather apparent emotional fluctuation (i.e. anger/fear/despair); or
        • Has an increase in any type of desire
      • When the Defiling Seed sprouts or when the emotion/desire is catalyzed and increased explosively, the target would:
        • Gradually become corrupted;
        • Lose control of the targeted emotion, becoming unable to fight back or resist against the influence of that emotion on their actions or thoughts; or
        • Suffer an explosion of desires. When the amount of catalyzed desire exceeds the maximum volume the target's body can withstand, the target will suffer a grave injury, a fatal wound, a damage that could even cause death if severe enough.
  • Psychic Impact: At the cost of burning one's own Devil's horns, they can forcefully attack an enemy’s psyche, inducing emotions to a certain degree in an unavoidable manner.
  • Avatar of Desire: They can turn their body into an illusionary, thick, black liquid form. This appearance is the Desire Apostle turning their body into a collection of condensed emotions and desires; in other words, desires and emotions are given semi-visible form.
    • In this form, a Desire Apostle is quite effective at avoiding damage, hiding their trails, and even affecting their enemies with emotions/desires.

Sequence 4: Demon[]

They are both a "Demon of The Body" and a "Demon of The Mind". Even though Demons have physical and spell-like abilities that are ranked pretty high on the total ranking list when compared to other Sequence 4s of the other 21 pathways, they excel at, as well as strongly prefer confrontations on the mental and spiritual level instead.

New Abilities[1][11]

  • Corruption: They can very effectively influence targets within a certain radius, making these targets' ability to think clearly decrease little by little, without them ever realizing it. This can make the targets more and more careless, unthinking, and easily fallible.

Strengthened Abilities[1][11]

  • Mental Enchantments: Demons are a "class advancement" of the Serial Killers. They are cold, sharp-minded, and sly. They are the textbook example of a high IQ creature.
    • Danger Premonition: Sometimes they can foresee things that may threaten their lives 1 or 2 days in advance.
    • Desire Mastery: Demons no longer need to wait for their targets to show emotional fluctuation or increase in desires.
      • Demons can utilize sound, eye contact, movements, gestures, and various other means to directly influence a target or all targets in a certain radius; the affected existences will enter into a state of delusion/confusion, and their emotions and desires will automatically expand at flying speeds. After which, one of three things can happen:
        1. The target(s) mind will be lit up like a fuse and explode;
        2. The target(s) cognition or sanity will be completely destroyed; or
        3. The target(s) will start the process of losing control.
      • Their target will fall into an unavoidable illusion. Their anger, sorrow, pain, greed, vanity, arrogance, and other desires would rapidly swell. Some would have their mind explode, others lose their sanity or experience a loss of control.

Mythical Creature Form[1]

  • As Sequence 4 Demigods they receive some level of Godhood, and with it comes an incomplete Mythical Creature form.
    • Even though manifesting the incomplete Mythical Creature form can easily bring about losing control, Demons have a semi-solution around it. They can let a certain part or area of their body manifest the appearance and characteristics of their Mythical Creature form. After which, they can maintain it that way for a prolonged period.
      • This way, they are often able to obtain unique, and even amazing effects and abilities related to the corresponding body part.

Sequence 3: Blatherer[]

New Abilities

  • Blathering: Their voice and every single word that comes out of their mouth are capable of affecting Beyonders to either:[1]
    1. Directly start losing control;
    2. Suffer a grave injury or wound;
    3. Become mentally confused; or
    4. Become hexed with various kinds of curses
    • If a type of Connection is established (Curses, Prayers, Defiling Seed, Ability, Contract, etc.), the Blatherer can be at a very very far away location, and still be able to transfer their voice directly into the target's mind. This can often cause those targets to die suddenly without a warning in places that they thought they were safe.[1]
      • If a Blatherer senses danger using Danger Premonition, due to them being able to feel the location and the identity of the threat, this is now a formed Connection. They can exert influence through this Connection immediately, thus getting back at their enemies on the spot.[1]

Sequence 2: Bloody Archduke[]

  • Blood & Fluid: One of "Their" core abilities lies in the domain of Blood and body Fluids.[12][13]
    • "They" can transform into a form made of Blood, in this form "They" can charge into "Their" opponent in an attempt to corrode them.
      • Being corroded under "Their" influence would make "Their" opponents bleed from all orifices of their body as both their Blood and Desires are ignited.

Strengthened Abilities

  • Desire Mastery: "They" can trigger the innermost desires and emotions of "Their" targets, which can make them show signs of losing control.[12][13]
    • Defiling Seed: Once someone's desires are triggered, the Bloody Archduke can plant seeds of malice within them, subtly eroding "Their" opponents' psyche. [13]
      • If "Their" main body is destroyed, "They" can use these seeds to revive within the affected targets of their seeds of malice.
      • If "Their" target's main body has a connected psyche to other bodies (e.g. an Unaging's Mirror Self), "They" could also erode that body's psyche as well. [13]
    • As an Angel-level Devil, "Their" intense malice can overpower other entities' mental control abilities over "Them", be it from active influence or passive effect.
      • Rather than succumbing to a Demoness of Catastrophe's Charm, "They" would develop an intense possessiveness, enabling "Them" to act decisively instead of being frozen in place.
