Agalito, also known as the King of Immortality, is one of the Pirate Kings of the Five Seas. He is suspected to be a Sequence 5 or 4 Beyonder of the Abyss Pathway.

He is able to reach the level of Sequence 4 because of his flagship, the Death Announcer.

Appearance[]

"As for King of Immortality, Agalito, I’ve never met him in real life. I only know that his bounty notice depicts a pale middle-aged man. How pale? Let me give an example you can understand. It’s like he’s been dead for some time, a corpse which is just beginning to rot."

Elland Kag,
Lord of Mysteries, Chapter 496

Personality[]

He is cruel by nature and enjoys killing. He can launch an attack on any person or ship at random.

He likes to find excuses to rip apart promises. Other than his nickname: the King of Immortality, he is often called “The Untrustworthy”.[1]

History[]

Rumor claims that he has drunk of the waters of the Fountain of Unaging. According to Bernadette, however, his Fountain of Unaging is a scam and might be a part of the advancement ritual or action needed to digest the Sequence 4 potion.[2]

During Gehrman Sparrow's adventure to find mermaids alongside the Stars Pirates, the group encountered the Death Announcer. Although Agalito did not directly start a sea battle, a constantly changing laughter was unleashed upon the crew of The Future, causing pain, madness and signs of losing control. Fortunately, the Admiral of Stars quickly made her flagship distance itself from the Death Announcer, keeping them away from the laughter's effects.[1]

In 1350 of the Fifth Epoch, his bounty in the Loen Kingdom alone was worth 100,000 pounds, the lowest among the 4 Pirate Kings then.[3] By 1358, in the Intis Republic, Agalito's bounty was 4 millions verl d'or.[4]
