Amon Family's Underground Tomb is a hidden tomb of Amon Family from Fourth Epoch at the mouth of the Stratford River in White Cliff Town, Backlund suburbs.

History[]

Klein got information about this place from Sharron when he seeking for main ingredients of his sequence 6.[1] Klein in Sherlock Moriarty's identity decided to report to Carlson and Ikanser of Machinery Hivemind, in exchange for an item from the spoils of tomb exploration.[2]

Machinery Hivemind's exploratory team led by Horamick Haydn. Though Klein didn't go to the tomb himself, however, he had watched this exploration from Arrodes's "live broadcast" in his dream.[3] Klein took this opportunity to experience the Machinery Hivemind’s combat style.

On the passage to the main tomb, they found the Specter Portrait Frame that belongs to the Amon Family, Horamick controlled his doll machine to safely extract it and took it back to the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery.

At the center of the chamber was a dais with an empty deep-black coffin on top of it and a picture frame that hung upside down at the bottom of the dais. On the straight path from the stone door to the coffin, there were corpses lying on the ground.

There is only one remain mural at the top of the wall, which took up a small half of the dome. The mural described: The Ancient Sun God and his Angels as well as his sons; Amon and Adam. There was a vague depiction of a giant with chains at its legs and a dragon that had its legs bound and never be able to land. After stared at the mural for a while, Horamick had completely destroyed the mural.[4]

In the corner of the chamber is a loomed stone door. Behind the loomed door is a strange place with the layers of waves that were surging towards the endless black fog. The deeper one looked, the more placid it felt. It was as if once something fell in, it would fall forever. When the scene gradually faded until it disappeared, Horamick only mumbled "The Abyss…". Klein thinks it might be related to the Abyss in Roselle's Diary. Then again Horamick had destroyed the stone door into pure powder as if it had never existed.[4]

Trivia[]

  • In the middle of the stone door to the tomb chamber was a symbol represent time. It's the coat of arms of the Amon family.[5]
