The Astral World (星界, Star Realm, Xīngjiè) is a plane of existence filled with abstract symbolisms and authorities. Even space and time exist symbolically in the Astral World.[1]
For the Door Pathway, the Spirit World was related to "Teleportation" while the Astral World and the Cosmos involved "Wandering".[2]
Everything in the Astral World is conceptual. If a human is transported into the Astral World, the human must also transform into a "conceptual" existence.[3]
The Astral World was even more abstract than the Spirit World as though all the authorities and symbolism in the universe were included inside-every object appeared. And the light that illuminated this area wasn't spread uniformly. It was mainly concentrated in a few places, stacking together, forming spots created by a prism.[4]
It seems to be similar to the Cosmos, dark, deep, and vast, but actually has a lot of peculiarities. For example, when you see a sun-like star hanging in the distance, it emits normal light and heat. If you try to get closer, without being damaged, you will find that the Astral World there is like a black curtain. The sun is directly painted with oil paint, and there are a lot of concepts and symbols gathered around. Furthermore, the drawing of the sun wasn't that nice, like a child without any foundation in art casually scrawled about. It was both comical and frightening.[5]
Reality-based concepts are ordinary things that everyone can understand, while symbolic concepts in the Astral World are higher. For example, even if a concept of Reality disappears, as long as the corresponding Astral World concept remains, the idea will still exist. So, concepts of Reality are merely reflections of the ones in the Astral World.[6]
Klein suspected that Astral World is a reflection of the fundamental law of the universe, chaotic and insane.[5]
The God Almighty is the Pillar presiding over the Astral World, and is the "Lord of the Astral World". Among the five Pathways of the God Almighty, the Visionary holds the biggest portion of the Astral World's authority, and can be considered a mini-"Lord of the Astral World".[7]
History[]
On the first day, the Original Creator awoke and created this world, but Reality, the Spirit World, the Astral World, and Fate were still mixed together.[8]
On the second day, the Oldest One birthed the Mother Goddess of Depravity. Reality gained a foundation, the Spirit World and Astral World were separated, and the River of Fate began to flow. Soon after, the Mother Tree of Desire was born, giving rise to life and introducing evil and desire. Then came the Son of Chaos, who established order-and with it, shadows naturally emerged.[8]
On the third day, the Oldest One and the Mother Goddess united, and the Mother of All Things gave birth to a firstborn daughter, the Goddess of Fate. From then on, the fates of all things began to intertwine, no longer in absolute chaos but instead forming relative patterns and foreseeable futures.[8]
After the Goddess of Fate, the other Outer Deities were born one after another from the union between the Original Creator and the Mother Goddess of Depravity.[9][10]
When the Original Creator split at the end of the Pre-Epoch, "He" also created the Astral Barrier surrounding Earth to block the Outer Deities, preventing "Them" from chaotically plundering and initiating the convergence. However, the Original Creator's will gradually fades with time, and the barrier will be increasingly unable to resist the Outer Deities, until it reaches a critical point and completely shatters. At the end of Fourth Epoch, cracks appeared on the Astral Barrier, forcing the Seven Orthodox Gods had to move "Their" Divine Kingdoms to the Astral World to mend the cracks.[11]
During Klein's Apotheosis Ritual, Klein grafted the Hornacis Mountain Range to the Astral World to minimize the damage to the material world.[12] While Adam temporarily promoted himself to a half God Almighty. "He" suppressed the Lord of Storms, the Eternal Blazing Sun, and the God of Knowledge and Wisdom by locking them in their Divine Kingdoms in Astral World.[13] "He" then increased control of the world barrier as half of the Lord of the Astral World.
