The Augustus Family is the royal family of the Loen Kingdom. They control the Justiciar Pathway and the Black Emperor Pathway.

History

They were once nobles of the Solomon Empire, which ruled the Northern Continent under the Black Emperor Solomon. "He" was supported by multiple angel families and by the True Creator. The high nobles at that time (i.e. families with dukes) included the Zoroast, Abraham, and Zaratul families, plus the Medici family and Ouroboros. Tudor, Trunsoest, Augustus and Castiya were also nobles, albeit ranked lower than others. After the collapse of the First Solomon Empire, they pledged allegiance to the Tudor-Trunsoest United Empire.

The Augustus Family later came under the Trunsoest Empire led by the Night Emperor. In the aftermath of the War of the Four Emperors, the angel families of the Trunsoest Empire, including the Augustus Family, split the weakened empire, and destroyed the royal Trunsoest Family. The Augustus Family, with the support of the Lord of Storms and the Evernight Goddess, established the Loen Kingdom and has become a royal family since then.

In the Fifth Epoch, they worked with the Twilight Hermit Order, the Demoness Sect, the Aurora Order, and the Numinous Episcopate to facilitate George III's Apotheosis Ritual.

Family Members

• William Augustus I: Ancestor of the family who saw the Second Blasphemy Slate. The first King, "His" title is the "Founder and Protector of the Loen Kingdom". "He" is a Hand of Order of the Justiciar Pathway.
• Henry Augustus I^†: The fifth King of the Loen Kingdom and the direct ancestor of George III.
• William Augustus VI^†: The former King of the Loen Kingdom, his title is the "Might-wielder". Father of George III.
• George Augustus III^†: King of the Loen Kingdom until December 3, 1350. "His" title is "Emperor of Balam". "He" was the mastermind behind the Great Smog of Backlund which was intended to facilitate "His" Apotheosis Ritual to become a Sequence 0: Black Emperor.
• Jevington Augustus: Firstborn of George III, Crown Prince of the Loen Kingdom. He became the new King of the Loen Kingdom in the last month of 1350.
• Edessak Augustus^†: Third son of George III. Third prince of the Loen Kingdom. He used by his father as a political and sacrificial scapegoat to quell the unrest following the Great Smog of Backlund.
• Dlink Augustus: Former Duke of Southville, a Balancer of the Justiciar Pathway and one of the angels of the Augustus family.
• Grove Augustus: A member of the royal family. He's a saint of the Justiciar Pathway.

• Georgina Augustus: A Duchess of the royal family and a demigod of the Justiciar Pathway.

Trivia

• The official religion of the Augustus family has always been the Lord of Storms since the founding of the kingdom.
• Coat of Arms: The “Sword of Judgment” emblem: Two swords, each with a ruby crown at the handle, were pointing vertically down.
• The Loen royal family resides in the Sodela Palace, located in the highest district in the whole of Backlund. In Ancient Feysac, it means “Balance”.
