— Cattleya on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 1062 |
Avalon is the headquarters of the Moses Ascetic Order located in the North Sea. This headquarters was created by one of the Ten Pillars, the current Chairman Torriope, by using Mystical Re-enactment, in the period after the sentience of the Hidden Sage. Avalon neither existed in reality nor in the spirit realm, completely hidden somewhere in the North Sea. Only those invited or qualified can enter, and they must also grasp a corresponding string of numbers, numbering 365 digits.[1]
Appearance[]
The 'island' where the headquarters is located is shrouded in mist, lined with trees bearing golden apples, with music faintly drifting. Within the depths of apple grove, stood a warlock's spire. The spire is made up by densely distributed billions of numbers, forming all different objects within. On the top floor of the spire, stood a hall larger than the spire's top floor itself. On the surface of the black walls, floor, and ceiling are different, strangely-shaped, cold eyes. At the end of the room, against the windowless wall, stood three dark gold statues — one wearing a mask, one resembling lion, and one like an eagle.[1]
After the space of the hall atop the warlock's tower was shattered by Fors Wall, it was revealed that there is a space beyond the hall, seemingly a reflection of the warlock's tower, another side of Avalon. This secret area is composed of wide tunnel connected to many rooms and leading to an unknown destination.[2] Somewhere within this another side of Avalon, a wilderness exists, hiding a hidden escape route, leading to a hazy, misty, obscure place. This escape route was granted by Hidden Sage when Torriope had established the headquarters Avalon.[3]
History[]
Within the Avalon since its creation by Torriope in the Fourth Epoch, Moses Ascetic Order raised and nurtured many members to be given corresponding teachings. These members are raised since childhood and are the most trusted members. Only Warlocks who grew up in this way can compete for the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Moses Ascetic Order while "outsider" members can only at most become one of the "Pillars" and will need to undergo years of testing and observations before having any hope to become a part of the core team.[1]
In the Fifth Epoch year 1359, Avalon became the main battle ground of the Hunting Hidden Sage incident.
