“ | I still remember the shock when I first saw the Blasphemy Slate. So it turns out that the Beyonder pathways are paths of the divine. It really is true that the Blasphemy Slate is blaspheming the deities. |

The Blasphemy Slate refers to 2 ancient documents or slates that each hold secret and mysterious information. They are referred to as the First Blasphemy Slate and the Second Blasphemy Slate. Both Blasphemy Slates record the potion systems of the 22 Pathways used by intelligent species outside the Western Continent for over 3,000 years.[1]
First Blasphemy Slate[]
The First Blasphemy Slate was originally born from the remains of the Primordial God Almighty in the Chaos Sea but was later pulled by some forces and left the ground before it was complete.[2]
According to Mr. Door, the main difference between the Second Blasphemy Slate and the First Blasphemy Slate isn't that the latter has many unique Sequence names, but that the former had many additions. It was a secret the Ancient Sun God caught a glimpse of towards 'His' later years. The language used in it is the source of all currently used language, hence even if someone doesn't know the exact language, they will understand the meaning written in it.[3] This language is also used by the Trunsoest Brass Book to write its Laws.[4]
History[]
The First Blasphemy Slate first appeared near the end of the Second Epoch.[5] According to Amon, the Ancient Sun God might have browsed the First Blasphemy Slate, and therefore when he fell, his remnants condensed into the Second Blasphemy Slate.[2] The First Blasphemy Slate was later confirmed to be held by Sasrir's Evil Spirit. In the Third Epoch, Sasrir was using the First Blasphemy Slate to control the Chaos Sea and to isolate its corruption from the Ancient Sun God.[3]
In the year 1352 of the Fifth Epoch, the Slate was taken by Amon, after the death of Sasrir Evil Spirit in the main hall of the Giant King's Court.[6]
When Mr. Door was trying to return to the physical world, Amon used the First Blasphemy Slate to resist the descent of the Mother Goddess of Depravity.[7]
During Klein's Apotheosis Ritual, Amon threw the Slate at a mountain's peak that tore out from the Fog Sea that was near the Abyss entrance and the Primitive Island in Fog Sea. This, along with the enhanced seal brought about by Amon's authority of 'Door', and the Half-Lord of the Astral World Adam's control towards the world barrier, prevented any Outer Deity from being able to have "Their" power penetrated inside for a short period. This also temporarily cut off the Mother Tree of Desire's influence over the Dark Side of the Universe and Chained God.[8]
Second Blasphemy Slate[]
The Second Blasphemy Slate was born after the fall of the Ancient Sun God. It contains the complete pathway researched information for all 22 Pathways, including the potion names, formulas, and advancement rituals. Comparing to the first Slate, it also contains the secret of "Above the Sequence" as fruits of the Ancient Sun God's research.[2] The knowledge on this Slate appeared in its essence and not in textual form, thus anyone who saw it needed some time to interpret it.[9]
History[]
In the Fourth Epoch, the Second Blasphemy Slate appeared once, and most of the angels of Angel Families were there: Bethel Abraham, Solomon, Zaratul Senior, Tudor, Trunsoest, Augustus, Einhorn, Sauron, Castiya, Zoroast, Stiano and Constantine.[10] According to Bethel, Cheek and the Artisan had also seen the Slate with "Him".[11] But because the Slate might leave at any moment, and because the knowledge on it needed time to be interpreted, these Angels could only memorize at most one complete pathway.[12] Adam took the Slate in the end.[9]
The Twilight Hermit Order currently controls the Second Blasphemy Slate. As a member, Emperor Roselle had seen the Second Blasphemy Slate and through it, created the corresponding Cards of Blasphemy.[13] However, the version that he saw is incomplete and missing some information.[14][10] This missing information is later revealed to be the secret of Above the Sequence.[15]
"The Fool" Klein had seen the Second Blasphemy Slate when he was captured by Adam. He managed to read the information on The 9 Great Old Ones on Earth, the demigod potion formula information of the Visionary, Darkness, and Justiciar pathways,[15] and likely all of the remaining contents.[16]
Later, Adam arrived in the Forsaken Land of the Gods to confront the True Creator so "They" could fuse and "He" could be whole again. Adam used Arrodes to trigger the Chaos Sea then "He" used the Second Blasphemy Slate to form a connection with the triggered area of the Chaos Sea. "He" then stepped forward into the shadow curtain to confront the True Creator.[17]
During Project Vortex in 1359, Adam uses the Second Blasphemy Slate as a medium to send Chaos Sea to severely injure the Uncertain Mist through the Genie and Roselle, ensuring one less danger during The Apocalypse.[18][19]
