Another Blood Moon!
Thankfully there’s Mr. Fool… I must say that there are way too many Blood Moons this year… It’s only been two months since the last time… I didn’t even have any time to prepare!
Blood Moon is the phenomenon where the moon suddenly becomes round and dark red, just like blood. It happens once or sometimes four or five times a year. Neither astronomers nor mystics can explain this phenomenon or come up with a pattern.
In mysticism, people believe that the Blood Moon brings about the rise and eruption of negative emotions and that it strengthens the power of the Underworld and Spirit World. Even if the dead weren't summoned, they might still be able to climb out of their grave.[1]
It is said that Sanguine Ancestor Lilith had control over the moon, and could make the Blood Moon appear every day of the year.
When the Blood Moon takes place, many supernatural phenomena unfold. Beyonders of the Chained Pathway experience a surge in their inner desires, making it increasingly difficult to suppress their instincts.[2] The higher the Sequence, the more obvious it would be.[3]
At the same time, members of the Abraham Family would hear eerie ravings that push them toward the brink of losing control.[4] On one such night, Roselle Gustav managed to establish contact with Mr. Door, an event made possible by the Blood Moon’s unique effects.
Blood Moon also appeared when Klein destroyed the Moon Puppet, provoking the wrath of the Primordial Moon.[5]
