Book of Calamity is an incomplete Sequence 2, Calamity Beyonder Characteristic of the Tyrant Pathway.
Appearance[]
A yellowish-brown book with the words "Book of Calamity" written in a line on its surface in Elvish.
History[]
The Queen of Calamity Cohinem split her Beyonder characteristic into halves, one in the Book of Calamity and the other hidden somewhere else. The Book of Calamity was kept inside the ancient elven ruins in Symeem Island. Kalvetua somehow took over the power of the book and the elven ruin, and called itself “Sea God”.
Later the archaeologist, Leticia Dolera found and took the Book of Calamity. Kalvetua's condition instantly deteriorated.[1] Leticia quickly began to study a book, and lost control and was corrupted as a result. Afterward, the Book of Calamity was retrieved and sent to the headquarter of the Church of the Lord of Storms.
In Volume 4, at the Blood Moon night on Pasu Island, Alger dreamed of a coral palace and the Queen of Calamity Cohinem, because of Siatas's Beyonder Characteristic he took.[2] During the war, Alger entered the elven ruin on Sonia Island and encountered the Queen of Calamity in a dream. The Elf Queen asked him to bring the Book of Calamity to the Western Continent in exchange for the Beyonder Characteristic of a Cataclysmic Interrer.[3]
When The Fool fell asleep, the Church of the Lord of Storms gave this book and the ghost ship, Blue Avenger, to the Church of the Sea God. Alger brought the Book of Calamity with him and went searching for the Western Continent as part of The Fool's Commission.[4]
