I’m sinful.

— Cali
on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 681

Cali was the Padre of Tizamo Town’s Church of the Eternal Blazing Sun. He was a boon bestowed Beyonder of the Chained Pathway. After the 1358 Dream Festival, he felt remorse for allowing his desires to overwhelm himself to commit sins, therefore, he sought repentance by death.

Appearance[]

He had standard dark brown skin, sunken eyes, and a chiseled face. He only had a thin layer of black hair, not wearing a clergyman’s hat.

Background[]

He’s a native of Port Pylos, possessing pure West Balam bloodline and a lowly native of the Southern Continent. Starting as a cathedral servant, he had seized the opportunity to change his fate. Subsequently, he had worked diligently and eventually became the padre of Tizamo Town about five years. He yearns for higher status and more recognition, especially from those hailing from the Northern Continent.[1]

History[]

Claiming to be bewitched by Twanaku, who saw through his desire for status and recognition, Cali was taken to sleep at Twanaku's house. There, he acquired the ability to maintain lucidity. Subsequently, during the Dream Festival, Cali was led by Twanaku to an ancient tomb in the forest, where he received a boon from the Chained Pathway.[2]

Later, Cali led his lover, Robert, through the same process, enabling Robert to gain lucidity and receive a boon from Naboredisley in a similar manner.[2]

Cali helped Twanaku monitor the changes in the dream. He preached and hosted naked Masses at Tizamo's Saint-Sien Cathedral in the Dream Festival.[3]

Cali died as a responsible Padre of the Church of the Eternal Blazing Sun, seeking repentance for his sins.
