My father crawled out of here just like I did. Ah, right. It has a name. You should have heard of it — Chaos Sea.
The Chaos Sea (混沌海, Hùndùnhǎi) is one of the nine Sefirot on Earth, a legacy left behind by the Original Creator and originally possessed by Primordial God Almighty.
It corresponds to one of the three Pillars, the God Almighty Group. The Ancient Gods believe that this sefirah is a source of corruption beneath the world. The Chaos Sea is very large. It almost fills the core of Earth, and goes to a further layer. It’s also the only sefirah that merges the real and the illusory and has an entrance in the real world, which means it can be entered through the Physical World. The known portal to enter the Chaos Sea is underneath Chernobyl in the Forsaken Land of the Gods.
According to Amon, the First Blasphemy Slate was likely born there, but it was later attracted by some power and left the ground before it was complete.[1]
Appearance[]
A chaotic and strange sea that seemed to encompass all color and all possibilities.[2]
History[]
...Research of the appearance of oil in a dried-up oil field... Why would they need to build a research facility in such an unimaginable place for such matters?
...God, what did they discover deep in the oil field...
...This is some amazing material...
...What exactly happened? The doctor turned into a puddle of black oil in front of me!
...More and more people have turned into oil. This research facility has been sealed from the outside... No one can leave. No one can leave...
...Mad, they’ve all gone mad. We’re still normal, but our food is almost running out...
...I seem to be hearing things. There seems to be sounds coming from underground. It’s summoning me. “He” is summoning me!
According to several documents Klein discovered in the research facility on Chernobyl, the experiments began after the discovery of a strange substance in a dried-up oil field. Klein speculates that the underground corruption had long been subtly influencing the human world, intermittently triggering mysterious events. It was only when the facility delved too deeply that Chaos Sea was fully awakened.[3]
During the Second Epoch, powerful creatures attempted to completely eliminate the pollution of the Chaos Sea. However, it made things worse and caused tremendous losses. Later, they abandoned the idea of directly exerting influence and instead focused on sealing and guarding it.[4] The Dragon of Imagination, Ankewelt later sealed the pollution of the Chaos Sea within the Groselle's Travels.[5]
At the end of the 2nd Epoch, the Ancient Sun God walked out of Chernobyl and inherited the Chaos Sea and gradually promoted to Above the Sequence.[6] He noticed that Primordial God Almighty might awake in his body. He created Sasrir with part of his personality to control the power of the Chaos Sea.[7]
After the death of the Ancient Sun God, the Chaos Sea polluted Sasrir and turned him into the evil spirit, and he started sleeping in the Giant King's Court.[8] While Klein and the others successfully purified the evil spirit in the Fifth Epoch, the First Blasphemy Slate and the authority of the Chaos Sea was stolen by Amon.[9]
After Adam merged with the True Creator in 1352, they can use the Chaos Sea as a source to become Half a Great Old One in a short period.[10]
As of The Day of Many Disasters in late 1359, Grisha Adam was forced to begin accommodating the Chaos Sea and merging with the Primordial God Almighty to protect Earth from the initial impact of the Mother Goddess of Depravity's descent.[11]
Descend into the depths of the earth, find the Chaos Sea, endure a degree of its corruption while maintaining oneself—neither falling nor transforming.
Based on the Blasphemy Slate, the Chaos Sea is also related to the Apotheosis Ritual of the Sequence 0 Demoness. Lumian Lee suspected that the Primordial God Almighty had altered the corresponding knowledge on the first Blasphemy Slate to facilitate "His" unique revival through the Pathways of Calamity and allow "Him" to control and utilize the Chaos Sea effectively post-resurrection. However, it also makes sense for a Demoness, who governs chaos, to need prior contact with the Chaos Sea.[12]
During The Apocalypse, by merging with the Uniquenesses and Beyonder Characteristics of the Lord of Storms and the God of Knowledge and Wisdom, Grisha Adam achieved a temporary fragile balance with the Primordial God Almighty, allowing "Him" to briefly become a quasi-God Almighty to fight against the Outer Deities. "He" used the Chaos Sea to protect the Protected Zones from the Supernova Dominator's impact that destroyed the planet, before Klein transported them away.[13]
After The Apocalypse concluded and Grisha Adam's death, the Chaos Sea returned underground, waiting for later promoter.[14] when discussing the prospect of creating new Great Old Ones on Earth, Klein mentioned that after the near-resurrection of the Primordial God Almighty, without hundreds or thousands of years to wear down "His" strengthened consciousnesses, none of the God Almighty's five pathways are suitable for birthing a corresponding Sequence 0, much like how in the Fourth Epoch, the Kings of Angels of the Lord of Mysteries group could not ascend.[15]

Trivia[]
- In biblical literature, the sea frequently symbolizes chaos and disorder. In Genesis 1:2, the sea is depicted as a primordial abyss over which the Spirit of God hovers. This imagery underscores the sea as a symbol of the chaotic forces that God orders and subdues.[16]
- If an Outer Deity accommodated the City of Calamity, "They" could use the Primordial God Almighty's Chaos Head within it to manipulate the Chaos Sea.[17]
