Clarice is one of the higher-ups of the Demoness Sect, known as the Demoness of Black.[1] She is Browns Sauron's teacher. She is a member of the Tamara Family.
Appearance[]
Clarice is often seen in a black court dress, with bright gray eyes and neatly tied black hair. Her beauty also invoked an unexplainable sense of sympathy in the beholder.[1]
Background[]
According to Clarice, her mother is a descendant of the Primordial Demoness. Based on Franca's deduction, Clarice also has Sauron and Tamara bloodlines, suggesting that her mother possesses both Primordial One and Tamara heritage.[2]
Clarice is in change of manage sect members in Trier, maintain contact with local collaborators, and clean up the Mirror People.[2]

Lord of Mysteries[]
Clarice was in charge of keeping the Conqueror Beyonder characteristic the Augustus Family gave to the Demoness Sect as payment for their help in the Great Smog of Backlund.[3]
Circle of Inevitability[]
During the concert date between Browns Sauron's lover with Beatrice Incourt, Lumian had sponsored the orchestra to invite the most beautiful lady onto the stage, in order to fish out the clue to Beatrice's Sequence. After scanning the audience, the conductor picked out Clarice.[4]
Later, in an apartment across the building at 23 Rue Ménier, Clarice watched over Browns, Lumian, and Franca via her mirror. She intervened with the abnormal return of Beatrice's Boon toward Mother Tree of Desire by temporarily sealing the building.[5]
As Franca passed the assessment to become an official member of Demoness Sect, Browns took Franca to meet her teacher, who turned out to be Clarice. Clarice taught Franca the Primordial Demoness's honorifics as part of the admission ritual to Demoness Sect. She eventually divulged that these honorifics were incomplete and there were two more hidden lines. Franca was also given a figurine of the Primordial Demoness and told that she must pray to it everyday. Finally, Clarice assigned Franca the mission to keep a close watch on the Iron and Blood Cross Order, especially Gardner Martin, and report back any unusual moves.[1]
During Death of Primordial Demoness, she, along with Mirror Roselle Gustav, fought against Sharron. Sharon used the Box of the Great Old Ones's second layer to teleport both herself and Clarice into the Underworld, killing Clarice, but she could still resurrect after some time.[6]
