This has established a connection between you and some unknown entity, progressively aligning with it. However, unlike a true pact ritual that is directed towards deities, angels, demons, or evil spirits, your pact seems to be with a city.

Madam Magician to Lumian Lee
on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 747

The Corpse Wax Candle is a mystical item with powers relating to the Red Priest and Demoness Pathways.

Appearance[]

A wax candle encased in a small glass vial with a light yellow and red hue.

History[]

It is made from the corpse oils of an Iron-blooded Knight and a Demoness of Despair mixed with other substances of unknown origins.

It was one of the treasures of the Tudor Empire hidden in the Blue Avenger. During his exploration of the Blue Avenger, Lumian Lee obtained the candle.[1]

After Lumian utilized the candle, a connection was formed between him and an unknown city, suspected to be the City of Calamity.[2]

Power & Downside[]

Power[]

Once lit and used in pacts and Cogitation, it should be paired with a ritual, but the specific details and ultimate effect are unclear. If the user has the residual aura of the Blood Emperor or it is used in specific locations such as Fourth Epoch Trier, Bansy Harbor and possibly Morora, the ritual can be bypassed.

It is a true pact ritual that allows the user to establish a connection between the user and the Sefirah, the City of Calamity, allowing the user to access higher knowledge or power.

The candle burns very quickly. It can be used about four more times before completely dissolving.[3]

Downside[]

The user could lose control from the knowledge gained from the ritual.
