The power of Concealment, command over spirits, and the ability to create realistic dreams…

Franca, to Lumian
on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 379

The Darkness Pathway has powers related to the night and sleep. They gain strength during nighttime, can pacify and host souls, enter others' dreams, cast area-of-effect sleep spells, see in the dark, and suppress their enemies' moods and desires.

At High-Sequences, they can host evil spirits within them, control darkness, shift a certain area under the state of secrecy, erase or hide things, and give misfortune to others. Their authority embodies Silence, and Darkness.[1]

The title of Above the Sequence of the Darkness Pathway is Eternal Darkness, and the corresponding Sefirah is the River of Eternal Darkness. This Pathway is adjacent to the Death and Twilight Giant Pathways.

In addition, because of the hidden Fourth Pillar, this Pathway is exchangeable to the Red Priest and Demoness Pathways at Sequence 4, but in that case, there’s no way to become a Great Old One, unless one separated the Beyonder characteristics from before.[2]
