— Kircheis on Lord of Mysteries, Chapter 686 |
The Death Announcer is the flagship of the King of Immortality Agalito.
Appearance[]
The sailboat was nearly two hundred meters long. With its bow and stern raised high, it appeared like a crescent. Its surface was black. The cannons were arranged in three rows in an untidy manner on the side of the ship. There was an order from top to bottom. Apart from the mast, the portions that extended out of the deck were similarly tall and massive. It was at least equivalent to a five-story building.
This ship's most odd feature was that it only had one sail and on it was the drawing of a black tomb.[1]

History[]
The Death Announcer is considered one of the most legendary and infamous ships on the Five Seas.
When Gehrman boarded the Future to search for mermaids in the Sea of Ruins, they took a secret sea route near the Gargas Archipelago and unexpectedly encountered the Death Announcer. The Death Announcer abruptly turned its sails toward the Future, emitting shrill, malicious laughter. Cattleya then used her powers to control the wind, allowing the Future to escape from the Death Announcer’s pursuit.[1]
Upon leaving the Sea of Ruins, the Future encountered the Death Announcer once again. This time, when Klein decided to confront them, the Death Announcer immediately turned around and fled at an unprecedented speed.[2]
After Klein used dream divination on the Aura of Blatherer obtained from Kircheis' corpse, he suspected that the Death Announcer was a living Sealed Artifact of the Abyss Pathway and likely the true King of Immortality, while Agalito was merely its partner.[3]
