Earl Hall is the Earl of East Chester. He is the father of Audrey Hall. He is a hereditary aristocrat in Backlund. He is a trusted aide of the king and respected member of the Cabinet and one of the most influential parliament members in the House of Lord.

He is one of the top bankers in the country, as he is the largest shareholder in many banks in the Loen Kingdom, as well as in the Intis Republic. He is also the second-largest shareholder of Constant Coal and Steel Consortium, and has a major stake in Laborie Restaurant.

He believes in the Evernight Goddess. He and his wife, Caitlyn, knew Audrey became a Beyonder. He is very protective of his daughter and will do his best to make sure she is safe, this is seen when Audrey tells her mother Caitlyn about the Primordial Demoness’s awakening and he makes sure it's known he acquired the info, not Audrey.
