The era that was buried in the past is a memory shared between us, and also the critical period in which our humanity was born, sprouted, and nourished. Even if I’ve had a long life, it remains my fondest memories.

Evernight Goddess to Klein Moretti
on Lord of Mysteries, Chapter 1370

Amanises, the Evernight Goddess, is the Eternal Darkness with authorities over the Darkness Symbol2 Darkness, Death Symbol2 Death and Twilight Giant Symbol2 Twilight Giant Pathways. She is the Goddess of the Church of the Evernight Goddess. "She" was a Subsidiary Goddess of the Annihilation Demonic Wolf Flegrea known as the Goddess of Misfortune in the Second Epoch. "She" is a Transmigrator from the modern era that first came out of the Sefirah Castle.

Although it is widely believed that as the Lady of Crimson, the Evernight Goddess' symbol is The Moon, Mr. Door has said that the Tarot Card that better represents "Her" is The Star.[4] "She" lost authority over the moon after giving away the Moon Uniqueness to Lilith at the end of the 1350 World War.[3]

"She" was the first god Klein became familiar with by joining the Nighthawks. After escaping from the Death Mausoleum, Klein finally confirmed that the Evernight Goddess has been watching him closely ever since the start and that he is actually "Her" Blessed,[5] and receives immediate responses and help from "Her". "She" has since helped Klein multiple times afterwards.

With the arrival of The Apocalypse, "She" completed "Her" trials and accepted the position of Sect Master for the Haoli Sect. "She" was certified by the Underworld Daoist.[6]

Note: After the World War, "Lady of Crimson" was removed from "Her" title, since "She" gave up the authority of the moon.[7]

Sacred Emblem[]

Sacred Emblem - Church of the Evernight Goddess2

Sacred Emblems are the symbols of the Gods which are worshipped and glorified by the people in the Fifth Epoch.

The symbol of the Evernight Goddess is the Dark Sacred Emblem. Its base was black, with a crimson half-moon surrounded by radiant light points.

After the World War, "Her" symbol changed from the crimson moon to that of stars.[7]

Appearance[]

As an orthodox god, "She" doesn't have an actual figure for people to worship. However, "Her" appearance is shown in the ruins of the Fourth Epoch.

In Fourth Epoch: The Evernight Goddess is an extremely beautiful lady with a hazy face. "She" wears a layered black classical dress that isn't overly complex. A circle of radiating rays is at the bottom of "Her" head.

On this lady’s dress, there are sparkling specks of radiance. They are pieces of bright and resplendent gems. At first glance, it feels as though you are seeing the night and the stars. There is a circular shape under the Evernight Goddess’ head that resembles a full moon.[9]

1350 World War: "She" wears a layered black dress with countless sparkling specks of radiance like the stars. "Her" ribs and waist each stretch out two arms. Among the six hands, two of them hold a black scythe, two of them hold a crimson "moon", one is empty, and one holds a golden bird-shaped accessory (that was taken from Azik).[10]

Twisted Version: A woman wearing a black, classical dress. "Her" clothes were layered but not complicated, and it was embedded with a starry sheen. "Her" body was relatively ethereal, with signs of rippling outward. "Her" face was blurry, as though "She" was wearing a mask without any facial features.

The darkness around "Her" surged as one strange eye after another faintly became discernible.

Unsealed Western Continent: "She" wore a layered yet unadorned black classical gown, Her face shrouded in a veil, ethereal and graceful.[6]

Eternal Darkness: "She" was an extraordinarily massive female figure clad in a layered but unadorned black gown, with an iron crown upon "Her" head and a thin veil covering Her face, rendering "Her" features indistinct yet imbued with a tranquil beauty. "Her" body was studded with points of starlight. Pale wings sprouted from "Her" back, while two short, darkly furred arms each extended from under "Her" ribs and armpits, clutching a dusk-orange greatsword and a black, night-like scythe. "Her" exposed forearms and hands appeared like sculpted jade, cradled an illusory book formed of coiled feathered serpents.[11]

*Twisted version was discovered in Forsaken Land of the Gods in the True Creator's Temple.[12]

Power and Authorities[]

The Evernight Goddess wields the authorities of the Darkness Symbol2 Darkness pathway, which includes Night, Concealment and Misfortune. "She" has also taken control of the authorities of the Death Symbol2 Death Pathway and the Twilight Giant Symbol2 Twilight Giant and become the Eternal Darkness.

As Sequence 0 of the Sleepless Pathway, "She" controls the realm of night and sleep. "She" can make people fall asleep and create a dream world. The power of Night allows "Her" to make things vanish in the darkness. The power of Concealment allows "Her" to hide secrets from the public and even forbid people from mentioning them. The secret can be a person, an object, or a certain range of space.

Being the Empress of Misfortune, "She" wields certain power over fate. This manifested when Old Neil prayed for 30 pounds, and it was achieved by making a rich person lose his money.[13]

"She" once held partial authority over the Moon Pathway. Klein assumed that the authority came from a sealed artifact that "She" held. Later, it was shown that the authority came from a "Crimson Moon" that "She" held in both hands, which was also revealed to be the Uniqueness of the Moon Pathway. "She" gave the "Crimson Moon" to Lilith in exchange for "Her" help in killing the God of Combat, thus losing this authority.[3]

"Her" divine kingdom in the Astral World named Tenebrous Heaven. The kingdom is covered in an endless, silent darkness filled with moonflowers and night vanillas.[10]

Trivia[]

  • According to the author's interview, "Her" background setting before transmigration is set to be European.[14] "She" was part of the higher management of a big company.[15]
  • According to some of the author's answers to some of the comments on his posts and updates on WeChat, "She" "transmigrated" into the body of a Demonic Wolf.[1]
  • According to Arrodes, all mermaids around Gargas Archipelago believe in "Her".[11]
  • Unlike Stiano, "She" was fully prepared to take over "Her" Sefirah on the Western Continent.[6]
