Gardner Martin is the boss of the Savoie Mob and a Beyonder of the Iron and Blood Cross Order. He’s a merchant by trade. He owns a depot near the steam locomotive station and holds significant shares in the nearby Rist docks. He also runs a freight company and a construction firm, providing employment opportunities for many Savoyards.

Appearence

A man who measured nearly 1.8 meters in height.

His hair, typical black as found in Intis, exhibited a few silver strands near his temples. He appeared to be in his early forties, possessed strong facial features, and his slightly reddened eyes contrasted with his otherwise brown irises.

Personality

According to Franca, he’s cunning and highly intelligent. He enjoys playing mind games with others.

History

After Lumian successfully eliminated "Hammer" Ait, Gardner rewarded him by granting him a leadership position within the Savoie Mob, in charge of Salle de Bal Brise.

During the member of parliament's office banquet, where Gardner was present as a shareholder of Rist Docks and the head of Rist Shipping Company and Savoie Construction Company, Lumian ran into Gardner and requested him to keep an eye on the supplementary ingredients for the Pyromaniac potion. Later on, the supplementary ingredients were sent to Lumian.

Subsequently, Gardner assigned Lumian, along with "Rat" Christo and "Giant" Simon, a mission to retrieve something from Underground Trier and bring it back to him. Lumian suspected that this mission might be a test for him to join the Iron and Blood Cross Order.

Following the mission, Gardner approached Lumian, presenting him with another test: to enter the burned-down building at Unit 13 Avenue du Marché and remain there until sunrise. Upon Lumian's successful completion of the task, Gardner's demeanor towards him underwent a sudden transformation. Gardner warmly embraced Lumian, declaring them as true brothers.

Upon Lumian's official induction into the Iron and Blood Cross Order, he encountered a Werewolf seeking information about the identity of the Savoie Mob's Boss. Lumian eliminated him and brought the body to Gardner. As a reward, Gardner granted him the Lucky One Beyonder characteristic.
