— God of Steam and Machinery in The Fool's Dream on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 923 |
Yuggs Stiano, the God of Steam and Machinery, is the Sequence 0 True God of the Paragon Pathway and the god of the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery.
In the Fifth Epoch, because of Roselle Gustav's exploits, "He" sent a sacred commandment to change the title God of Craftsmanship to God of Steam and Machinery.
From 1352 to 1359, The Fool's Dream allowed "Him" to improve "His" knowledge of human civilization, and become an ally of the Tarot Club.
After the Hunting Hidden Sage event in year 1359 of the Fifth Epoch, "He" acquired the Uniqueness of the Hermit Pathway.
With the arrival of The Apocalypse, "He" joined the Celestial Master's sect on the Western Continent as the Master's true disciple and obtained the Dao Name True Blessing. "He" joined the Celestial Master's formation to help him become a temporary Quasi-Demon of Knowledge to fight the Outer Deities.
Honorific Name[]
"Embodiment of Essence
Guardian of Craftsmen
Brilliance of Technology"
Sacred Emblem[]

The Sacred Emblem is the symbol of the Gods which were worshiped and glorified by people in the Fifth Epoch.
The Sacred Emblem of Steam and Machinery represented by the solid triangle was filled with symbols such as steam, gears, and levers.
Appearance[]
In The Fool's Dream: "He" has brownish-yellow hair, wears a pair of plain glasses on his nose bridge, with some light yellow stubble on his face. His chest muscles were developed, his arms were thick, stretching his blue shirt to near bursting point, "He" wears faded jeans and carries a black travel backpack on his back.[2]
Unsealed Western Continent: A middle-aged man seemingly composed of numerous depictions of civilizations, which finally coalesced into a man in his prime.[3]
Background[]
Yuggs Stiano was one of the people who saw the Second Blasphemy Slate after it emerged near the beginning of the Fourth Epoch.[4][5]
He was one of the founders of the Moses Ascetic Order, but later left the order and disappeared for a long time. After the War of the Four Emperors and before the Pale Disaster, in the latter part of the Fourth Epoch, He became a true god, the youngest of the seven Orthodox Gods.[6] At the time, "He" did not digest the Sequence 1 Illuminator potion very well before promoting to Sequence 0 for various reasons. Due to this reason, "He" had to pay more attention to maintain "His" sanity, thus "He" was also the weakest of the seven Orthodox Gods.[7]
In the Pale Era, when Death went mad and caused havoc on the Northern Continent with the Primordial Demoness,[8] the 7 Gods joined force and caused the destruction of Death and dealt a fatal blow to the Primordial Demoness. At the end of the Fourth Epoch, the 7 Gods fractured and supported different angel families of the Trunsoest Empire to form their own country.[9] The God of Craftsmanship supported the Augustus Family to create the Loen Kingdom along with the Evernight Goddess and the Lord of Storms, as well as the Sauron Family to create the Intis Kingdom along with the Eternal Blazing Sun.
When the barrier around the Earth cracked at the end of the Fourth Epoch, "He" and the other Orthodox Gods moved "Their" divine kingdoms into the Astral World to mend the cracks.[10] "His" old divine kingdom on Earth later became the headquarters of the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery.[11]
History[]
Lord of Mysteries[]
In the Fifth Epoch, "His" believers are mainly in the Intis Republic and, before the 1350 World War, the Loen Kingdom. "His" status did not start to change until Roselle Gustav started the Industrial Revolution and called himself the "son of steam". In addition, as a member of the church, Roselle brought various thoughts which greatly promoted industrialization. The God of Craftsmanship then took the opportunity to change "His" title to the God of Steam and Machinery and digested the Sequence 1 potion.
All 7 Deities wanted to have a Black Emperor, but they were not unanimous in "Their" candidate. As such, when George III managed to obtain the opportunity to become one through his preparations, the 7 Deities had no choice but to give "Their" tacit agreement.[12] However, eventually George III's Apotheosis Ritual failed and "He" died on the spot.
In the 1350 World War, "He" stood on the God of Combat's side and fought against the Lord of Storms in Bayam.[13] "They" lost the war, in consequence "His" Church was expelled from Loen Kingdom.
"He", along with the Eternal Blazing Sun, the Evernight Goddess, the Earth Mother, the Lord of Storms, and the God of Knowledge and Wisdom held off the Mother Goddess of Depravity when Mr. Door returned back to Earth because of Amon's and Medici's plan.[14][15]
During Klein's Apotheosis Ritual, "He" was on Klein's side. "He" and the Earth Mother held off the Hidden Sage and the Primordial Demoness respectively, as well as preventing a portion of Amon's avatars from disrupting Klein's advancement to the Fool. Because of his and the Earth Mother's influences, all Angels could not see what was happening in the Astral World.[16]
Circle of Inevitability[]
"He" was one of the True Gods who were in The Fool's Dream. His corresponding dream image was an international student called Stiano, with the WeChat nickname "Electric Power Energy and Information Technology". In the dream, Stiano provided assistance multiple times to Lumian Lee and company during their mission to wake up The Fool.[2][17]
"He" provided most of the help during the Hunting Hidden Sage even, a joint operation of multiple Orthodox Churches. After The Fool killed the Hidden Sage, he gave the the Uniqueness of the Hermit Pathway to the God of Steam and Machinery.[18] He can temporarily wield the Hermit Uniqueness by the use of a construct.[19]
Unlike Amanises, "He" did not achieved partial control over the Knowledge Moor, and could not become the Demon of Knowledge during The Apocalypse.[3] Instead, "He" joined the Celestial Master's formation, allowing "Him" to have temporary Great Old One strength. "They" fought alongside the Celestial Thearch against the High-Dimensional Overseer, and even faced danger from the Inextinguishable Ravings.[11]
After The Apocalypse, "His" church still maintained its previous influence.
The Fool outlined two paths for Earth to produce a Demon of Knowledge in the next few decades. The first is for Stiano to obtain the Celestial Master's bloodline, a requirement to accommodate the Knowledge Moor. The second is to have the current Celestial Master consume potions, advancing from Mystery Pryer to Hermit as quickly as possible. They will pursue both paths, whichever progresses faster, the other should step aside.[13]
Trivia[]
- "He" is responsible for creating Stiano's Golden Armor Art. Its defensive capabilities are equivalent to that of a Guardian. Roselle Gustav later modified this armor art.[20]
- Before Book 2 was released, the author revealed in an interview that the revival of the Hidden Sage is related to the relationship between the Moses Ascetic Order and the God of Craftsmanship of the Fourth Epoch.[21] It is unknown if this is still part of the setting, because Book 2 revealed that the Hidden Sage's birth was the result of the Brood Hive's influence over the Knowledge Moor.[22]
