History[]

Guillaume Bénet is one of the masterminds who launched the sacrificial ritual on April 9th, 1358. After the ritual failed, he escaped to and hid in Trier before the destruction of the Cordu Village.[15] He took the anonymous deposit of Aurore Lee, a sum of 100,000 verl d'or in total, to support his lavish lifestyle in Trier. He holds the position of one of the Sinners' archbishops.[16]

After Lumian Lee reached Trier, he used the Prophecy Spell of Contractee to find out the approximate time and location that he would meet Guillaume.[17]

According to Guillaume Bénet, it was Aurore Lee, who claimed to be Roche Louise Sanson, who led him to place faith in Inevitability. She claimed that he could gain supernatural abilities without the need for approval from the bishops of Church of the Eternal Blazing Sun. She even promised the potential for future godhood, perhaps even becoming a saint for eternal life.[16]

Guillaume plotted to sacrifice Cordu Village in exchange for the arrival of the Inevitability angel. He aimed for swift godhood and sainthood, seeking Aurore Lee's approval, which wavered. To ensure his goal, he concealed his intentions, with Aurore's occasional support and occasional resistance.[16]
