The Haoli Sect is a Western Continent sect which follows Daoism and believes in the River of Eternal Darkness. The leader of the Sect is the Underworld Daoist.
During the early stage of The Apocalypse, the Evernight Goddess made an oath to the River of Eternal Darkness and pledged to strengthen the Haoli lineage, ensuring all disciples achieve balance between internal and external cultivation and attain characteristics. The Underworld Daoist then transferred the title of the Sect Master to "Her", and helped "Her" accommodate the River of Eternal Darkness to become the Eternal Darkness.[1]
