Hazel Macht is the daughter of Maury Macht and Ma’am Riana. She is a Beyonder of the Error Pathway and a student of Flora Jacob, a demigod of the Jacob Family who was parasitizing a rat.

Appearance

She is a dignified and pretty lady with wavy black-green hair and bright brown eyes.

History

Hazel became a Beyonder under the teaching of Flora Jacob, who probably had ill intentions. Like many Beyonders, she believed herself superior to ordinary people.

She seems to have an inferiority complex towards Audrey.

When her teacher was in danger, she chose to warn her, even though she knew that her power was not enough and that she could end up being sacrificed. She didn’t wish to become a seemingly arrogant person but, in actuality, was a coward, one who would abandon all principles upon encountering danger.

After the encounter with Amon who stole the identity of her teacher, she grew fearful towards monocles. Audrey helped her recover; according to her, Hazel is now able to recall the terrible shock and pain she had suffered. Although it’s just a direct sense of the emotions and doesn’t involve the exact sequence of events, it’s enough to give her dreams of losing her parents and relatives. This made her learn to cherish her family more.
