Merciful Buddha

Holy Monk, to Great Buddha
on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 1160

The Holy Monk is a manifestation of Buddha, acknowledged by all sects of the monastic community. "He" is a powerful figure of the Western Continent who follows the Dao System. "He" holds authority over the Wheel of Fortune Pathway and is connected to respective Sefirah, the Key of Light.[1]

Appearance[]

Clad in yellow monastic robes wrapped in a red kasaya. "His" head bore tonsure scars, and his round face was adorned with a long white beard that reached his chest. "He" wore a perpetual, kind smile.[1]

History[]

During The Apocalypse, the Celestial Master, the Underworld Daoist, the Holy Monk, the Master of the Shadow Cottage, and the Celestial Thearch joined force to aid Lumian Lee fighting against the Malevolent Dragon in the City of Calamity. Since beings of "His" level could not directly intervene, "They" used preexisting seals to restrict and weaken the Malevolent Dragon.[1]

When the fight against the Outer Deities first started, Will Auceptin and Ouroboros, the 2 Kings of Angels of the Wheel of Fortune Pathway, arrived at the Buddhist Kingdom, the Key of Light. The Holy Monk then merged with the great Buddha's golden body along with all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Wisdom Kings, with Will Auceptin and Ouroboros sitting on the Buddha's left and right sides respectively.[2]
