Howl Constantine is one of the Nine Pirate Admirals of the Five Seas. He holds the title Admiral Deep Sea.
He is a Sequence 5 Ocean Songster of the Tyrant Pathway.
Appearance[]
He wore a translucent, palm-sized octopus on his face, with numerous slimy tentacles hanging down to his chest. His deep blue, almost black hair was thick and coarse, falling to his shoulders, and his body was entirely wrapped in a black cloak, even his hands hidden within.[1]
His true face is handsome, with soft, not deeply set features. In Franca's impression, his face resembled that of Harrison, who had an "Eastern-style" appearance from her hometown before transmigration. However, Howl's features suggested a mixed heritage rather than a purely "Eastern" look.[2]
Background[]
Howl Constantine was one of the Five Pirate Admirals, previously holding the title Vice Admiral Deep Sea. By 1358, he ascended to the rank of Admiral, bearing the title Admiral Deep Sea.
He was quite mysterious and rarely appeared in newspapers and magazines that recorded sea stories.
Legend whispered of his monstrous lineage, suggesting he bore the blood of sea beasts. Rumors circulated that he had delved into the ruins of a submerged city, the Lost Newins, recovering relics belonging to ancient alchemists: two stealth vessels, "The Newins" and "The Black Octopus", designed to traverse the ocean depths undetected.[3]
The Newins, inspired by a renowned maritime treasure legend, served as Howl's flagship, while the Black Octopus was entrusted to his most loyal subordinate, Bone Splitter Basil.
Equipment[]
- Obsidian Trident
- Octopus mask: a sequence 6 or 5 sealed artifact from Twilight Giant Pathway[4]
History[]
Currently, he is pursued by King of Dusk Bulatov Ioan, who seeks information regarding the Lost Newins, purportedly the source of the Newins and Black Octopus. Howl Constantine had no choice but to avoid this formidable adversary and his fleet.[5] Consequently, other ships in his fleet rarely accompanied the flagship, The Newins, to avoid exposing his movements.[6]
He was attacked in Banamo Island by Lumian Lee and company in order to further the digestion of Franca Roland's Pleasure potion.[7]
