History[]
After tookover the Auberge du Coq Doré Hotel from the Poison Spur Mob, Ciel finally met the landlord. When queried about the previous occupant of room 504, Ive seemed visibly startled, displaying a hint of guilt that aroused suspicion in Lumian. Thus, he covertly trailed Ive to his residence.[1]
Upon arrival, Lumian stumbled upon the Théâtre de l’Ancienne Cage à Pigeons. While examining a poster, he discovered that Ive was also a theater actor.[1]
In order to gauge Ive’s capabilities, Lumian staged a simulated robbery targeting him. As a result, Ive opted to "gift" a silver coin to the supposed burglar and then retreated. Lumian found himself almost abandoning his original intentions due to the allure of the silver coin. This experience reminded Lumian of the sensations he felt when facing Susanna Matisse, prompting him to suspect a potential connection between Ive and Susanna.[2]
Ive led Rentas to search for his silver coin, but they were misled to a vagrant as Lumian had already tossed the coin beforehand. This incident alerted the Bliss Society that something was amiss, prompting them to act swiftly.[3]
