Ever since the disappearance of the President of the Life School of Thought, Will Auceptin, an internal conflict broke out in the organization. Guided by the Primordial Moon, a branch of the Life School of Thought which grasped the Moon Pathway defected and joined the indulgence faction of the Rose School of Thought.[2][3]
As of 1358, the Life School of Thought is an ally of the Tarot Club.[3]
Philosophy[]
The Life School of Thought members revere fate and seek to understand fate. Their doctrine proposes that the world is divided into three major divisions, the world of absolute rationality, the spirit world, and the material world. The Life School of Thought specializes in astromancy, seeking to use medicine, music, light, wine, and fragrance, to eliminate paths with unfavorable star readings and fate. They believe that disasters and diseases are caused by the loss of balance between man and nature, as well as the balance between man and his own mind.[1]
Hierarchy[]
Unlike most organizations that use a strict ranking hierarchy based on contribution to slowly disseminate information and knowledge, the Life School of Thought developed in a secretive manner with the master and apprentice format, but they have an Elder Council among the upper echelons. They resolved the conflict between the different internal factions. Since the Fifth Epoch, the Elder Council changed to a more trendy name known as the Fate Council. There are seven councillors, and the Snake of Mercury is the president.[4]
Klein Moretti once speculated that the world of absolute rationality that the Life School of Thought promotes might be referring to the River of Fate.[5]
