Luck Enhancement Ritual is a ritual that Zhou Mingrui found written at the beginning of a thread-bound book titled ‘Quintessential Divination and Arcane Arts of the Qin and Han Dynasty’. The ritual similar to asking a god for a small pseudo-boon.
Ritual Performance[]
Ritual Setting (Star Phantom Tarot - Four of Pentacles)
Place four portions of staple food in the four corners of a room. They could be placed on furniture such as tables and cupboards. Then, standing in the middle of a room, and step forward went in a counter-clockwise direction in the shape of a square.
The first step, chant “The Immortal Lord of Heaven and Earth for Blessings. (Fúshēng xuánhuáng xiānzūn.)”
The second step, “The Sky Lord of Heaven and Earth for Blessings. (Fúshēng xuánhuáng tiānjūn.)”
The third step, “The Exalted Thearch of Heaven and Earth for Blessings. (Fúshēng xuánhuáng shàngdì.)”
At the fourth step, “The Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings. (Fúshēng xuánhuáng tiānzūn.)”
After the four steps were taken, return back to the original spot, close the eyes and wait five minutes. Only then would the ritual be considered complete.
Mysteries of the Ritual[]
After Zhou Mingrui performs the luck enhancement ritual on earth, he transmigrated into Klein Moretti.
After he tried to return to earth through the same ritual, he heard mysterious murmurings that almost drove him crazy during the ritual. Then he entered a mysterious space above the Gray Fog, or later known as one of the Sefirot, the Sefirah Castle. When he returned to the real world, four black dots in the form of a small square appeared on the back of his hand, they faded and disappeared after a short while. Since their appearance, Klein doesn’t need to prepare the food and can do the ritual and chants immediately, like a shortcut of the ritual.[1]
Afterward, when Klein learned mysticism, he analyzed this ritual with ritualistic magic knowledge and found a problem. Since there was nothing in the ritual that described the goal of enhancing his luck, this Luck Enhancement Ritual was incomplete, or else the entity that the ritual directs to has no way of knowing what the ritual is asking for.[2]
After learning the truth of the world and fully digest the Scholar of Yore potion, Klein found Zhou Mingrui had some changes that were not noticed by himself after the Luck Enhancement Ritual. He became pale and stiff, and did his usual routines and went to bed with his clothes on.[3]
He suspected it was the owner of the Sefirah Castle that influenced reality and delivered the Luck Enhancement Ritual, for example, Huang Tao's mysterious silver plate, the variant mobile phone, and other things. Those who got these items and made the corresponding operations were pulled onto the Gray Fog and suspended in cocoons above the glowing gate at some point.[3]
When Klein wandered around the mysterious Gray Fog barrier near the Moon City, he heard the four chants of the ritual from deep within the dense fog from the barrier.[4]
In Volume 7, Seven Lights reveal that the four chants of the ritual is the Western Continent honorific name of The Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth.[5]
