— Mirror Gardner Martin to Lumian Lee on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 486 |
Beings in the real world have their corresponding reflection in the Mirror World. These are the Mirror People.[1] The Mirror People harbor an intense resentment toward the original counterpart, and are driven by a desire to supplant them.[2]
They have been very active in killing their counterparts and taking their role in the real world, especially so in Trier of the Intis Republic. The Mirror People have been infiltrating Trier for many years, replacing the original ones. Countless Trier citizens are already Mirror People, with possibly nefarious goals.[3][4]
Description[]
Mirror People corresponding to the special Mirror World located within the Fourth Epoch Trier have vary origins.[5]
The first type are those who are the descendants of the "False Deity". Their corresponding Mirror People will be manifested at the moment of their birth regardless of their location and whether they have ever been to Trier.
The second category comes from the bloodline of certain noble families in Fourth Epoch Trier like Tamara Family. This category is also not limited by location and environment.
Aside from these origins, people who often frequented underground Trier and come into contact with specific corruptions will also manifest their corresponding Mirror People. According to Mirror Moran Avigny, if not for the seal specifically targeting the Fourth Epoch Trier, the corresponding Mirror World will contain a complete reflection of Trier, including every resident. Although, the first level of special Mirror World can't reflect the sun, moon, and star, resulting in dark nature of this realm. This characteristic also results in Sun Pathway beyonders immunity to the manifestation of their corresponding Mirror People despite their contact with the specific corruption.
According to Mirror Moran Avigny, if the real person dies in reality, their corresponding Mirror Person will also die with them. But, if the real person die within the Mirror World, the impact of their death to the corresponding Mirror Person will be minimal. It also holds true in reverse situation. If the Mirror Person dies within the Mirror World, the corresponding real world counterpart will merely get sick and be weakened for a time. If the Mirror People escaped into the reality and be killed, it won't give any impact to the real person. In other words, the one within the Mirror World will lose significance and will not impact the other's survival regardless of whether they are a Mirror Person or a real individual.
Depending on their Mirror World of origin, Mirror People have varying appearances and abilities. The Mirror Gardner Martin from Fourth Epoch Trier's Mirror World had the ability create other Mirror People, and Sequence 5 abilities of the Red Priest and Demoness Pathways. The Mirror People he created had their corresponding counterparts' Beyonder abilities, along with "Mirror Substitution". However, since they came from profound mirror images, their genders were reversed, and couldn't supplant their real life counterparts.[2]
While interrogating Mirror Moran Avigny, Lumian Lee found out that Mirror People have their own leader.[6] By connecting many available information, Lumian Lee deduced that the leader is the Mirror Roselle Gustav which is later confirmed to be true by Moran Avigny's seemingly affirmative reaction.
Despite having a formidable figure as their leader, Mirror People's strength is still limited because Mirror Roselle is still trapped within the Mirror. This is because Mirror People with formidable godhood (Sequence 3 and above) can't escape the Mirror World through certain catastrophes via the leakage point like other Mirror People. The School of Truth's Overseer, as a collaborating organization, can contact Mirror Roselle through a provided ritual by using a classic ancient silver mirror that bears a striking resemblance to Franca Roland's Ancient Silver Mirror.[7]
According to Clarice, the Mirror People believe in the Chaos Demoness, which is a projection of the Primordial Demoness in the mirror.[8] Primordial Demoness later confirmed and stated that "Her" Mirror black self Chaos Demoness is the Mirrored Original Creator.[9]
Characteristics[]
Mirror People within the special Mirror World have a very restricted freedom. They can only walk through a fixed paths and can only observe their real world counterpart through mirrors. This is one of the reasons for their desire to replace the original person and live in reality.
Mission[]
Aside from each Mirror People personal desire to replace their real world counterpart, they have shared missions to fully unseal the Fourth Epoch Trier and access the third level of special Mirror World.[5] To accomplish these missions, they collaborated with members of the School of Truth. They promised to assist certain individuals appointed by the School of Truth's Overseer in exchange for elevating their political status and acquired more resources.[6]
Some Mirror People who left the underground stayed in Trier and started to build their own factions to achieve their missions. Some infiltrated the Demoness Sect to locate the "False Deity's" hiding place. Others went to Lenburg to search for an item as instructed by their leader, Mirror Roselle Gustav. Lumian Lee speculated this item to be 0-01.
A Mirror person, Griffith, originally a key member of the Moses Ascetic Order, is also steadily elevating his position within the Order to rope in the secret organization into the alliance to open the seal of the Fourth Epoch Trier.[10]
