— Chen Tu on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 439 |
Penglai is a mountainous island located in the Western Continent.
History[]
According to Chen Tu, Penglai is a long-lost immortal mountain located in the East Sea. Its existence was what made the East Sea special. Around 1358 of the Fifth Epoch, the long vanished Penglai reappeared, and from it a corpse floated over via the River of Eternal Darkness.[1]
While receiving her Soul Assurer boon, Amandina was warned by the Underworld Daoist to be careful of Penglai.[2]
It held one of the backup plans of the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings for "His" resurrection. However, through the efforts of generations of beings from the Western Continent, the Celestial Worthy's plan involving Penglai failed.[3]
