Phil is a Sequence 9 Marauder of the Error Pathway. He is part of the friend group consisting of Roy, Biles and Pasha.
All of them were caught in the bizarre and terrifying events which occurred as a result of the Trunsoest Brass Book running wild in Belltaine City.
Background[]
Roy, Biles, Phil and Pasha were all survivors of the 1350 World War. Phil had once been ransacked by the Feysacians, but he was lucky to not have died. They had witnessed the deaths of many of their friends and obtained supernatural powers due to various reasons.
After that, due to the chaos brought about by the war, they either lost contact with their unit, or they avoided it on their own accord without the officials learning about it. Slowly, they got to know each other and became friends with each other due to their common experiences.
Abilities[]
Roy, Phil, and Pasha were Beyonders who were relatively good at fighting. Although they were all Beyonders, their Sequences weren’t high. It wasn’t a problem dealing with a few ordinary people, but facing the enmity of an entire city was extremely dangerous.[1]
History[]
Sometime after the war, the four of them arrived at Biles' hometown of Belltaine City to seek out any friends and family who might have survived. While enjoying themselves in a bar, they suddenly encountered a Beyonder incident which resulted in Phil's hand being cut off by an unseen force.
In a bid to heal it, they set off for the house of Dr. Weber, a military doctor with Beyonder powers. At his house, they found Dr. Weber and a nurse with whom he had been having an affair hanging in midair, both dead. Soon, they found a strange notice hung on the town's municipal square, and identified it as the source of the anomaly.[2]
While attempting to destroy it, they met a man who introduced himself as a wandering magician, Merlin Hermes. He claimed to be able to grant their wishes. Phil wished for his hand to be restored, which was granted.
Quickly realizing the magician's friendliness and strength, they stuck with him and assisted him in solving the anomaly, which turned out to be caused by the Sealed Artifact 0-02, released by the former Chief Shepherd of the Church of the God of Combat, Larrion.[3]
