— Alger Wilson to The World on Lord of Mysteries, Chapter 716 |
The Primitive Island in Sonia Sea refers to an island where Alger Wilson and Gehrman Sparrow embark on an exploration together. It lies on the outskirts of the Rorsted Sea in the Sonia Sea, far from the main sea routes.[1]
To come to this primitive island, the ship had to steer away from the main sea routes. With sea monsters lurking and storms looming, the journey would take at least six hours.[1]
Appearance[]
It's a large island, nearly the size of Blue Mountain Island, where Bayam is located.[2]
During the day, the island is vibrant and bustling with life, with even mythical birds appearing in the forest. However, at night, a different "power" takes over, causing many Beyonder creatures to hide and await the return of daylight.[3]
On the island stands a towering mountain peak surrounded by dense forest. Among the trees lies the ancient ruins of unknown age.
Ancient ruins[]
The collapsed buildings were strewn with weeds and covered in vines. All that was left of the building was its main structure. It was impossible to know what it originally looked like. The only things that could only be determined were that it had thick walls with narrow windows, and the building’s scale and magnificence. Furthermore, it once had a spire and clock tower. It had a spartan facade and an ancient architecture.[4]
History[]
The island was initially discovered by Alger Wilson and Qilangos.[2], however, due to his low Sequence at that time, Alger didn't venture deep into the ancient ruins. Qilangos, who entered the ruins alone, emerged within ten minutes, remarking that something extremely precious and important lay inside.[4]
Alger later traded the island's coordinates to The World Gehrman in exchange for the Ocean Songster potion formula, on the condition that The World would bring him to the island for his first exploration, but only after he advanced in Sequence.[2]
Eventually, Gehrman and Alger set out to explore the island together, encountering numerous dangerous Beyonder creatures along the way.[5] Within the ancient ruins, they found murals likely depicting scenes related to the Ancient Sun God.[4] In the underground sections, they came across another mural illustrating the The Feast of Betrayals.[6] They then discovered a Card of Blasphemy from the Tyrant Pathway. After obtaining it, a deep sigh echoed from within the cathedral. Sensing danger, Klein immediately teleported them off the island, and as they looked back, they saw the island vanish before their eyes.[7]
