Project Vortex is a large scale trade ritual conducted in the Fifth Epoch 1359 by Perle, a Sequence 3 Vortex Weaver of the Chaos Mist Pathway.
The ritual acts as a platform for various parties, mostly Outer Deities and their followers, to perform mutually beneficial trades with each other.
History[]
A group of Purifiers were sent to deal with the Rose School of Thought.[1]
As part of the gray exchange between Perle and Bernadette Gustav, Roselle Gustav's corruption was stabilized by the blessing of the Uncertain Mist for the deposit of the location of Roselle's mausoleum on the primitive island, the place for the vortex ritual.
For the release of the spaceship sealed hidden near Port Santa, Supernova Dominator will suppress the Astral World barrier held up by the true gods during the ritual, making "Them" unable to intervene.
Topsy of the School of Deliciousness is willing to release the spaceship in exchange for the Angel of the Primordial Hunger to return.
Bernadette wanted to stop the remaining grey trade but could not, as the only way to stop it is by killing Perle, but if the facilitator of the vortex is killed as the trades are still ongoing, Roselle will not achieve true balance in "His" corruption influence.
Offering help to Topsy is Higdon of the Order of All Extinction but he does not know where the Angel is.
The Founder of the Dreamseekers, Héloise is responsible for weaving the entire matter, ensuring it progresses smoothly without alerting higher beings, as well as providing the location of the two Angels, Ludwid and Termiboros.[2]
Voisin Sanson had obtained crucial information about the recovery of the Inevitability Angel, the price will be paid by the Circle of Inevitability.
Higdon had begun action and the price will be paid after he recovers the Angel of Primordial Hunger and aids Voisin Sanson, paid by Loki of April Fool's.
Harrison from Easter Island had received information about Lumian Lee's location. After the Vortex ritual, he will use the special mirror world to visit Fourth Epoch Trier, paying with a special item of the Fate Pathway that Madam Héloise desires to acquire.
The Fantasy Association lead by Sage created the Endless Cosmos painting, the reward will be paid by the Uncertain Mist after vortex ritual. The painting allowed the powers from both the Inextinguishable Ravings and the Circle of Inevitability to be transmitted through the barrier successfully.
Most Beyonders of the Hermit Pathway and Hanged Man Pathway were unintentionally eroded by the Inextinguishable Ravings, excluding Bernadette Gustav (protected by Roselle), and Cattleya (protected by Fors).
Due to the power of Inevitability, any external forces that attempt to intervene with Project Vortex will inevitably fail, with exception for the participants themselves.[3]
Battle[]
Franca and Jenna will stall Higdon, while Lumian and Ludwig will attack Voisin Sanson. Anthony will support from the side and Lugano will provide the healing.
Emperor Roselle awakens and "He" announces "His" return, with the power of the Black Emperor; a variety of distortions occurred.
The Rose School of Thought sets forth the Shadow of the Beauty Goddess as a trade item, a Sealed Artifact derived from the Sequence 1 of the Moon Pathway. The one willing to offer a price is Madam Hart of the Nightstalkers.
Madam Hart requested the Great Mother to reclaim "Her" corruption from Roselle. This corruption is exchanged for the Shadow of the Beauty Goddess from the Rose School of Thought.
Amon uses "His" Sinner abilities and The Fool's permitted Uniquenesses to temporarily return as a Dual-Pathway True God and support the earlier end of the ritual, such as strengthening the world barrier, indirectly helping the female Tarot Club Major Arcana members destroy Endless Cosmos, and strengthening the seal of the black hole in the sea near Port Santa that the School of Deliciousness tried to destroy.[4]
Amon works with Adam to help Roselle balance "His" corruption influence. Adam, who had shaken off the influence of the Outer God's ravings, briefly returned to "His" peak state, Half a Great Old One. Then "He" uses the Second Blasphemy Slate as a medium to send Chaos Sea that swallows Genie and Roselle, who held it, then Amon uses "Loopholes" to the weak Genie and the powerful Uncertain Mist to make "Them" equals; severely injuring the Genie would be equivalent to severely injuring the Uncertain Mist that can't return for sixty years, ensuring one less danger during The Apocalypse, completely destroyed Project Vortex.[5]
Aftermath[]
- The Uncertain Mist is heavily injured and has to sleep for sixty years to recover.
- Believers of the Uncertain Mist across the world are destroyed by Roselle Gustav.
- Roselle Gustav perishes and can only be resurrected after a hundred years.
- Amon reveals "He" stole Termiboros' fate and identity a long time ago.
- Adam's arrangements involving Lumian Lee and Aurore Lee for Calamity of Destruction are revealed by Amon.
- Lumian Lee switches Pathways and advances to Sequence 4 Demoness of Despair.
- Mother Goddess of Depravity gains the corruption needed to birth Tirié from Chained God.
