The thought of assassinating such an important figure makes me shiver in excitement…

Qilangos's thought
on Lord of Mysteries, Chapter 190

Vice Admiral Hurricane Qilangos was one of the seven Pirate Admirals. Despite being only Sequence 6 of the Tyrant Pathway, he managed to obtain this position due to his Sealed Artifact, Creeping Hunger.

Appearance[]

He was one of the seven major pirate admirals. He had a distinctive broad chin, brown hair tied into a bun at the back of his head like an ancient warrior, and green eyes that seemed to hint at laughter, but were abnormally cold.

Personality[]

Qilangos was a lone wolf who doesn’t trust anyone and extremely cold-blooded. An experienced serial killer, he kills at least one person a day to feed his artifact. Despite that, he is cautious and will always arrange an escape path for himself.

Equipment[]

History[]

Qilangos and Alger Wilson came from the same village and had been servants in the same chapel. The priest there was a man who liked to punish the servants. So Qilangos secretly escaped and became a pirate at the Sonia Sea.[1]

Qilangos and Alger discovered the primitive island. Qilangos found the Card of Blasphemy, Tyrant Card, deep inside the cathedral’s catacombs. However, due to his low-sequence at that time, he could not obtain it.[2] Klein suspected Qilangos got into contact with the member of the Twilight Hermit Order during his second visit to the cathedral. He obtained an advancement and received Creeping Hunger from them, allowing him to become a Pirate Admiral.[3]

Under the orders of the Twilight Hermit Order, Qilangos tried to assassinate Duke Negan on September 6, 1349. According to Alger, he believed once he completed the commission and obtained an object, he would be the equal of Nast, the King of the Five Seas. The Four Pirate Kings would then become the Five Pirate Kings, and the Seven Pirate Admirals would be reduced to six. But he was foiled by Audrey Hall. Failing his assassination attempt, he tried to escape but was killed by Azik Eggers.[4] His unusual death indirectly caused Audrey and Alger to be monitored, therefore, postponing the Tarot Club for a week.[5]

After his death, his crews and pirate ship were subjugated and taken over by Tracy,[6] taking over his position as a Pirate Admiral.

Trivia[]

  • He loves fish, especially fish from the sea. He also likes hard liquor, and despises champagne, red wine. He will often look for women to relieve his needs whenever he heads to shore, and with his strong body, one woman will not be enough to satisfy him. He's used to using cold weapons and avoids hot weapons.[7]
