Roy King is Darkwill's teacher and a disciple of Ricciardo. He is a member of the Life School of Thought.
Appearance[]
A relatively young man. His hair was neatly combed back and he wore glasses. He appeared very gentlemanly. According to Darkwill, he is at least sixty, but he looks young.[1]
History[]
Roy King arranged to meet Darkwill near the Red Theater in Bayam, but after waiting for months, Darkwill couldn't locate him or make contact. Frustrated, he enlisted several adventurers to search for Roy King, offering a reward of 100 pounds. Klein in an identity of Gehrman Sparrow was also tasked with this request.[1]
Klein inquired about Roy King's whereabouts from Arrodes and learned that he was imprisoned in the governor-general’s office of Bayam.[2]
Due to the disappearance of Snake of Mercury, Ricciardo found himself in trouble and decided to entrust the Die of Probability to Roy King.[2] However, while Roy King was en route to meet Darkwill at their appointed time, he was betrayed and subsequently arrested by the Loen military. Despite his capture, Roy King managed to leave hidden messages for Darkwill, instructing him to bring the die to Oravi Island and deliver it to Ricciardo.[3]
After Ricciardo recovered from his injuries, he went to Bayam. Fortunately, there had been some adjustments to the upper echelons of the navy and the governor-general’s office, enabling him to successfully rescue Roy King.[4]
