Saint Selena's Ashes was a Sealed Artifact and the core seal of the Chanis Gate under the Saint Selena Cathedral in Tingen City. It corresponded to Sequence 4, Nightwatcher of the Darkness Pathway.
Appearance[]
The ashes resembled fine, resplendent sand, and were stored in a silver, bone-like urn box.[1] The box's inside was dark, and it prevented the ashes from falling out even when tipped over.[2]
History[]
Saint Selena's Ashes was the Beyonder Characteristic left behind by Saint Selena, a Sequence 4 saint of the Darkness Pathway under the Church of the Evernight Goddess, and the namesake of Tingen City's Saint Selena Cathedral.[3]
Just before the True Creator's Spawn, it was taken out of Chanis Gate by Dunn Smith. In the aftermath of the event, it was stolen by Ince Zangwill, who later used it to switch to the Darkness Pathway and promote to Sequence 4.

Opening the box darkens the surroundings and releases many floating black threads, which are fine, cold, and smooth. These threads can entangle a target, restraining them.
Downside[]
It would extend almost invisible thin, black, and cold lines so as to seal the people and things around it.[4]
