Jenna to Lumian Lee
on Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 165

Salle de Bal Brise (Breezy Ballroom) is located on Avenue du Marché. It is the most popular dance hall in the entire market district. It is one of the domains of Savoie Mob.

Formerly, the place was managed by Brignais, before takenover by Ciel as a reward from Gardner Martin after he killed "Hammer" Ait.[1]

René is the manager of Salle de Bal Brise.

Structure[]

Salle de Bal Brise occupied the bottom two floors of a khaki-colored building. The second floor housed a café, while the first was a bustling dance hall though it had just opened and few customers were present. A white, spherical statue made of countless skulls welcomed visitors at the entrance with an inscribed message: "They sleep here, waiting for the arrival of happiness and hope."[2]

A finance of Salle de Bal Brise provided by René, the manager of the dance hall, to Ciel.[3] The dance hall earns a daily income ranging from 1,200 to 1,800 verl d'or on weekdays, while on weekends, the figure can reach as high as 5,000 verl d'or with an average of around 4,000 verl d'or. The total income for the previous year was 645,425 verl d'or and 37 coppet, and there has been a slight increase in the current year.

The average annual salary for these employees is 1,000 verl d'or, and the establishment also provides them with complimentary lunch and dinner, costing a total of 53,000 verl d'or.

The manager's annual salary, along with the year-end dividend, amounts to approximately 7,000 verl d'or. Additionally, each dancer employed by the dance hall receives a base salary of 1 verl d'or per day. When they strike a deal with a guest, the establishment takes 30% of the transaction. Transactions usually occur in the rooms on the upper two floors of the dance hall, and guests must settle the fee with the bouncer or the waiter supervisor at the door in advance if they wish to leave.

The dance hall spends around 120,000 verl d'or per year on wine, champagne, beer, brandy, sugar alcohol, absinthe, various flavors of soda, as well as ice and other ingredients. Most of the alcohol comes from ‘Rat’ Christo which tax-free and incredibly cheap.[4]

Annual costs for horse care, venue maintenance, gas, tap water, singers, and the band amount to approximately 230,000 verl d'or. Out of the remaining 310,000 verl d'or, 100,000 verl d'or will go to Gardner Martin, and another 100,000 verl d'or will be used to establish a favorable relationship with the officers at the police headquarters. Lumian is left with approximately 110,000 verl d'or, which needs to cover personal expenses, firearm and ammunition supplies, rewards for subordinates, as well as compensation for victims and the injured.
