It’s not white or black. Not light or darkness.
It’s the gray between white and black, the mist between light and darkness.
It’s shadows, flux, and chaos!

The School of Truth is a secret organization founded after year 1352 of the Fifth Epoch. They follow the Uncertain Mist, the Outer Deity holding authority over the Chaos Mist Pathway.

History[]

As of 1358 of the Fifth Epoch, they were looking for clues to three things: the Fallen Heaven, Roselle’s final mausoleum, and the Magic Wishing Lamp.[1]

In 1359, one of their high-ranking members, Perle, conducted Project Vortex, a large scale trade ritual involving various Outer Deities and their factions. One of their main goals was to allow the Uncertain Mist to thoroughly corrupt Roselle Gustav, making him its puppet.[2]

Before the Uncertain Mist could completely control Roselle who had revived as a Sequence 0 Black Emperor, he proceeded to destroy every Boon bestowed of the Uncertain Mist across the Northern and Southern Continents, crippling the School of Truth.[3]

The subsequent injury dealt to the Uncertain Mist by Adam made it so that it could not bestow Boons for sixty years, which meant there wouldn't be any more Brokers running around making connections before The Apocalypse.[4]

Philosophy[]

Their philosophy revolves around leveraging influential figures to gradually gain control over Intis's government. They aim for a system that maintains both order and secrecy, serving as a channel for organized communication and covert operations. While they respect the law, they are willing to exploit legal loopholes and employ strategic methods to resolve issues before they escalate into litigation. This approach forms the core of their ideology.[1]

Characteristics[]

Due to the specialty of the Chaos Mist Pathway followed by the School of Truth, they were able to successfully connect and organize the various scattered factions of the Outer Deities. A single Broker might not be dangerous, but their ability to weave all dangers together was what made them a threat.[3]
