The Scrooge Pathway seems to be about satisfying your own desires, while forcing twisted desires on others. It specializes in inducing desires, imitating people and powers through acting, dream infiltration and life draining.

This Pathway is one of the new Pathways introduced in Circle of Inevitability. It exists outside the standard 22 Pathways, but is still classified into Sequence 9 to Sequence 0.[1]

The Beyonders of this Pathway do not advance through Potions, but by praying to the Mother Tree of Desire, who is the Above the Sequence of this Pathway.

This pathway is adjacent to the Pathways formerly belonging to the Mother Tree of Desire: the Chained Pathway and the Abyss Pathway. The corresponding Sefirah is the remaining part of the Mother Tree of Desire's Sefirah that was not attracted to Earth and became the Tenebrous World.

Trivia[]

  • The Scrooge Pathway originates from the Mother Tree of Desire, and just like the curses of the Chained Pathway, or the increasing evilness of the Abyss Pathway, there are negative effects at each Sequence. Every Sequence of the Scrooge Pathway comes with a corresponding exaggerated desire. As individuals progress through the Sequences, they gradually gain control over their corresponding desires.[2]
    • Once they mastered the power or received a new boon, they could break free and progress to the next state. While their desires remained potent, they were no longer uncontrollable.[3]
