Klein acting as the Sea God
on Lord of Mysteries, Chapter 550

Sea God Scepter is a Sealed Artifact that was formed after the death of the Sea God Kalvetua. It corresponds to the Tyrant Pathway's Sequence 3, Sea King and lower.[1]

Appearance[]

A short scepter made of a white fang that was no longer curved. Its tip is embedded with many tiny blue gems, some dyed in black and others with the light of dawn.[2]

History[]

This sealed artifact was formed after the death of the Sea God Kalvetua. Its leftover Beyonder characteristic fused with a snake tooth to leave behind a very powerful Grade 1 Sealed Artifact.

Klein stole it after defeating the cultists and left it in the Gray Fog before Jahn Kottman arrived. Since then, Klein has used it to respond to believers, acting as the Sea God Kalvetua, and it subsequently became the Sacred Emblem of the Church of the Sea God.[3]

Later, he gave this scepter to Alger Wilson to enable prior acting of the Sea King and allowed it to become the source of his Sequence 3 potion's main ingredient.[4]

Alger took the scepter with him as he renewed his naval voyage on the Blue Avenger to deliver the Book of Calamity to the Western Continent.[5]

In Book 2, Alger has already used this scepter to advance to Sequence 3 Sea King.

Power & Downside[]

Power[]

The scepter's power resembles that of a ruler of the sea.[6] It can manipulate the weather and waves, creating tsunamis, hurricanes, heavy rain, and lightning. It can also make sea creatures follow the holder's orders, respond to believers, mark believers with a mark of divinity,[7][8] and enable the holder to fly in the sky and walk on the bottom of the sea with nearly no restrictions.

The scepter is very resistant to damage and can be used to directly smash an enemy's head. In addition, it allows the holder to never get lost without the superposition of other powerful factors, provides great balance, and grants them strength similar to that of a sea monster.

It can also simultaneously provide "enchantment" for dozens of items, such as allowing some of them to be Electric Shock charms, some that allow people to swim in the ocean like fish, some that allow a gale to blow, and some that allow to communicate with undersea creatures. Within three months, their spirituality will gradually decline to nothing.

Downside[]

One downside is that it makes the holder violent, making it easy to become angry and lose their temper.

Second, periodically in a certain range, all biological beings will have their blood drained, including the holder. The range is estimated to be from 600 meters to 1 kilometer, while the frequency is estimated to be every 20-35 minutes.

The third downside is it gathers the prayers of the believers. The aggregated sounds and images make it easy for the non-demigods who are not strong enough to collapse and lose control.

After The Fool applied certain seals to it, the negative effects of the sealed artifact lessened somewhat; now it makes the wielder more irritable and causes the spirit to be in a certain state of chaos. In addition, it will drain the blood of the surrounding creatures every month. The wielder can head out to an uninhabited island or the sea ahead of time to prevent it from killing anyone around them.
