The spirit world itself is interwoven with all sorts of information. Some come from the past, some come from the present, and some indicate a certain future. Whether it's divination or prophecy, most of the methods are actually using the spirit world, followed by the prying into the secrets of fate.
Spirit World
The Spirit World (灵界, Spirit Boundary, Língjiè) is the higher-dimensional plane inhabited by spirits[1], both positive or negative of various spiritual manifestations. It is the source location that encompasses all Contracted Creatures, and the convergence of all information.[2]
Description[]
According to the descriptions in the Book of Secrets, the existence of the Spirit World was quite magical. It completely overlapped with the real world, so everyone could obtain revelations from the Spirit World at any time.[3] Every person must be connected to the spirit world because one's Astral Projection is located there. It can obtain all kinds of abstract information, which is the reason why revelations can be obtained from divination.[4]
However, the Spirit World didn't distinguish between directions, and the past, present, or future could even intersect there. It was like infinite knowledge, information, and illusions were spiritually gathered and compressed into a strange sea. It was different from the “world” as one would imagine according to usual concepts or logic.[3]. It allows for quick travel between places, for instance, a destination that would normally take months to reach would be shortened to a few days.
The Sefirah Castle above the Spirit World
The Spirit World is where the Seven Lights reside.
The Sefirah Castle is located above the Spirit World. The Lord of Mysteries is the Pillar presiding over the Spirit World, and is the "Dominator of the Spirit World".
The highest sequence level a Spirit World Creature can achieve is Kings of Angels.[5]
History[]
On the first day, the Original Creator awoke and created this world, but Reality, the Spirit World, the Astral World, and Fate were still mixed together.[6]
On the second day, the Oldest One birthed the Mother Goddess of Depravity. Reality gained a foundation, the Spirit World and Astral World were separated, and the River of Fate began to flow. Soon after, the Mother Tree of Desire was born, giving rise to life and introducing evil and desire. Then came the Son of Chaos, who established order-and with it, shadows naturally emerged.[6]
On the third day, the Oldest One and the Mother Goddess united, and the Mother of All Things gave birth to a firstborn daughter, the Goddess of Fate. From then on, the fates of all things began to intertwine, no longer in absolute chaos but instead forming relative patterns and foreseeable futures.[6]
After the Goddess of Fate, the other Outer Deities were born one after another from the union between the Original Creator and the Mother Goddess of Depravity.[7][8]
After the awakening of the Original Creator, the Great Destruction of the Spirit World happened, and the entire Universe's Spirit World was destroyed, and the Seven Lights of Earth and the entire world perished.[9]
Corresponding Pathways[]
The
Fool Pathway wields the biggest portion of the Spirit World authority, and can be called a mini-Lord of The Spirit World, with the complete dominator being the Lord of Mysteries, who wields the authorities of
Error and
Door, and the complete symbol of a Pillar.[10]
As the Spirit World is a place where all kinds of Information converge and Information is Knowledge, it is naturally influenced by Knowledge Pathways. Therefore, the
Hermit and the
Paragon all have a partial Spirit World authority.[11]
Other Sequences and Pathways can influence the Spirit World as well, such as the
Door,
Error,
Chained,
Moon,
Darkness, and
Death Pathways.
