Susanna Matisse was one of Trier’s most famous prostitute a few years back.

She was a believer of the Mother Tree of Desire, and received Her boon equivalent to a Sequence 5 Beyonder, Fallen Tree Spirit.

The woman appeared to be in her late twenties, with auburn hair, jade-green eyes, and lustrous red lips. She possessed an exquisite beauty, radiating elegance.

Evil Spirit form

A woman with long turquoise hair interwoven with green leaves that enveloped its body and concealed vital areas. The rest of its fair, smooth skin was exposed, setting one’s heart racing and imagination ablaze.

With emerald-green eyes, red lips, and an exquisite, alluring face.

Background

Susanna Matisse was a regular attendee of high society banquets and was often associated with scandals involving members of parliament, high-ranking officials, and the wealthy. It was rumored that she earned a substantial income annually, but she had been away from the public eye for the past two or three years.

Tired of her involvement with men in high society, Susanna sought comfort among ladies and madams who shared her affection for women. Eventually, she received a boon and became a priestess of the Mother Tree of Desire. She transformed the small Bliss Society into a secret organization that worshiped the Mother Tree.

Unfortunately, while receiving a boon, she died and transformed into an Evil Spirit. Because her name was still on the lips of many Trieriens and her portrait was used by numerous men to satisfy themselves, she didn’t completely dissipate.

History

Upon Lumian's arrival in Trier, he attempted his first Summoning Dance, inadvertently summoning a strange spirit. This spirit was eager to possess him, but she sensed the lurking danger within the seal and refrained from acting.

Subsequently, Charlie was apprehended by officers as a suspected murderer in Madam Alice's case. Lumian conducted an investigation and discovered a portrait in Charlie's room, leading him to deduce that the spirit was Susanna Matisse.

After Charlie's release, he was followed by Susanna, who claimed he was her husband. Lumian acted swiftly and managed to save Charlie by buffing before Officer Beyonders arrived to rescue them. This resulted in Susanna suffering grave injuries, and she spent time recuperating at the altar.

Later, Susanna re-emerged in captured Lumian, together with Charlotte Calvino, intending to offer him as a sacrifice to the Mother Tree of Desire. It was revealed that Susanna had been aware of the angel-level power sealed within Lumian's body since he unintentionally summoned her for the first time.

Lumian stabbed the Tree of Shadow with Fallen Mercury and bestowed Susanna the fate of the Tree of Shadow’s root being consumed by an underground fire which reduced her to ashes.
