Susie is a golden retriever that is not so much of a purebred. Susie accidentally drank a Spectator potion and became a Beyonder creature with extraordinary abilities.
Susie is currently a Sequence 4 Manipulator of the Visionary Pathway.

Personality[]
Susie is calm and usually sits and walks steadily. As her intelligence advanced with her sequence, she began to mind her behavior more, and tried to act more elegant and "ladylike"; even so, she still loves dog biscuits and will wag her tail when happy.
Sometimes, when Susie doesn't know how to explain something, or Audrey tells her something beyond her understanding, she would say, "I'm just a dog".[2]
She is very loyal to Audrey. She has been helping Audrey watch doors and observe others secretly since no one would be alerted by a dog. She is also a major source of comfort and support for Audrey.
History[]
Lord of Mysteries[]
Susie is Audrey's pet, who was gifted to her by her father, Earl Hall. After Audrey successfully concocted the Sequence 9 Spectator potion, Susie knocked the potion cup to the floor and licked it clean during Audrey's momentary lapse of attention.[3]
Susie became a Beyonder creature and is able to speak Loenese.[4] Susie is very talented in the Visionary Pathway. She digested the potions much faster than Audrey without any guidance in the acting method and didn't show any signs of losing control when drinking the potion. As she advances in sequence, she has shown interest in psychology and has been listening to the Psychology Alchemists' lectures and reading books.
Audrey, after having joined the Psychology Alchemists would usually earn the potion formula and then gain the ingredients needed for it from the Tarot Club. She would then preemptively advance to the next sequence and then also earn the ingredients from the Psychology Alchemists and use them to mix a potion of advancement for Susie.
At the end of Book 1, she agreed to leave the Hall family with Audrey.[5]

She advanced to Sequence 4 after Audrey Hall advanced to Sequence 2 of the Visionary Pathway.[6]
