The Tenebrous World (暗影世界, Shadow World, Ànyǐngshìjiè) is one of the nine Sefirot on Earth. It corresponds to the Father of Devils group.[1]
Appearance[]
The boundless Tenebrous World, hidden deep beneath the earth. A world of pitch-black and full of shadows.[2]
History[]
When the Original Creator split into pieces, some part of the Mother Tree of Desire's Sefirah was torn from "Her" and went to Earth, self-completing into the Tenebrous World.[3]
During the early-mid stages of the First Epoch, The Primordial God Almighty accommodated the Tenebrous World. This left "His" consciousness and psyche in the Sefirah after "His" death. Since "He" also accommodated the City of Calamity, the two Sefirot have mutually corrupted each other.[4]
After the Primordial God Almighty and the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings's death at the hands of each other, the Tenebrous World was sealed in the Western Continent by the Celestial Worthy along with 6 other Sefirot.[5]
As time went by, the seal of the Western Continent gradually weakened. The Sefirot will instinctively or consciously use their symbolism to corrode the Uniqueness and High-Sequence Beyonder characteristics that land on them to influence the outside world.[5]
During The Apocalypse, the Master of the Shadow Cottage and Farbauti merged with each other and the Tenebrous World to become a Quasi-Father of Devils and fought against the Outer Deities.[6][7]
During the battle, "They" lured the Inextinguishable Ravings into "Them" and then cursed "Themselves". Amon, with permission from Klein, used the Chained Uniqueness to establish a mystical connection between the Tenebrous World and the Mother Tree of Desire, severely wounding "Her" through the self-curses of the Tenebrous World. However, the Mother Tree of Desire in turn used the mystical connection to drag "Herself" toward the Tenebrous World's battlefield. With the help of the Mother Goddess of Depravity, "She" managed to shake off Klein's influence and took away the Tenebrous World. "She" then immediately fled into the Astral World, leaving the Chained and Abyss Uniquenesses and corresponding Beyonder Characteristics behind.[8]
The Mother Tree of Desire would need a long time to fully re-accommodate the Tenebrous World. Due to the fusion and influence of various Dao integrators, the Sefirah had developed a new consciousness and spirit. Although both it and the integrators fused within it had been destroyed by their self-curses, Its spirit remained indestructible, chaotic, and extreme. Moreover, the Mother Tree of Desire was still in a severely wounded state, requiring at least decades, if not longer, to fully accommodate the Tenebrous World and completely recover.[9]
