Tingen is known as the City of Universities. There are two universities, Tingen and Khoy, as well as technical schools, law colleges, and business colleges. The number of universities was second only to Backlund, the capital.[2] Since it is not a coastal city, the Church of the Evernight Goddess is much more powerful than the Church of the Lord of Storms there.[3]
This is the city that Klein Moretti used to live in. It has a division of Nighthawks operating under disguise for the Blackthorn Security Company, as well as teams of the Mandated Punishers and the Machinery Hivemind. The City has a Divination Club where Klein used to divise the Acting Method for Seer. The City was almost destroyed by the True Creator after he attempted to descend.

Tingen is located in Awwa County. There are two main rivers crossing through Tingen; the Khoy River coming from the northern York Mountains passing through the university district in the East Borough and the Tussock River which merge together in Tingen.
Climate[]
Tingen is situated in the north of the Loen Kingdom, giving it unique climate characteristics. The highest annual temperature rarely reaches 30°C, with even cooler mornings.[4]
Population[]
The population of Tingen City combining the city and the suburbs, there are hundreds of thousands of people or maybe even more. There are about thirty plus Beyonders.[1]

The first four units are the regular police responsible for general security, like the VIP Protection Unit and Key Installations Protection Unit.
The fifth to seventh units are responsible for dealing with the supernatural. They belong to the Official Beyonders of the three major Churches. They are responsible for incidents related to the believers of each church. If people of different beliefs are involved, they are divided by region.

- Moretti siblings' rented terrace house. It requires thirteen soli of rent and five pence for use of the furniture weekly. In addition, there is a deposit that amounts to four weeks of rent. But after some haggling , the siblings rented the house for 12 soli per week with additional 3 pence per week for furniture usage and the deposit amounting to 2 pounds for four weeks of rent.[7]

- Located in 18 Vlad Street, East Borough. It's where Darkwill sold mystical medicines he made with his power as an Apothecary. He left the store to Scharmaine when he realized he attracted too much attention, with the condition the latter has to deposit half of his monthly profits into Darkwill's anonymous Backlund Bank account.[8]
