Consumption Backlash

Their sense of hearing would suddenly reach out, enough to hear the conversation at the end of the corridor outside the room they’re in.

They would feel that they would dissolve into an illusory gas and are rapidly expanding. It would fill the entire room, overlapping with a sea formed from everyone’s sea of consciousness.

Their vision would also change. Everything they see is abnormally smooth, turning into a mirror that reflects their current appearance.

Scales would appear growing out of their exposed skin. Their irises would also contract, being dyed with a faint golden colour, as if they had turned vertical like a cat’s eye or a dragon’s rather.

The exact appearance of the scales may vary. For Audrey, the scales are golden, possessing a beauty described by pure, exquisite, grand, and witty.

Clearly, they’re turning into an inhuman monster. With a hum, their mind began to turn into a blur, as if something was slowly and painfully drilling out from the surface of their body.

They would then have to recover their thoughts and try to get themself into a Spectator state. Calming down their undulating emotions quickly, and their spirit would seem to leave their body. Looking down at themself like a spectator.

The scales on the surface of their body would visibly recede and their eyes return to normal.

It didn’t take them long to regain control of their body and understand what Beyonder powers are available to a Psychiatrist and how they are used.

• A translucent, colorless, sticky liquid that resembles a mirror when still, perfectly reflecting its surroundings. When disturbed, tiny whirlpools silently spin beneath its surface.

Beyonder Characteristic Appearance

The transparent, colorless mucus had lost its binding substance, leaving it only able to condense independently, eventually forming a sticky grayish-white colloid. From a distance, this colloid resembled an unfixed mirror, capable of reflecting everything around it. Minuscule transparent bubbles deep within the colloid. They caught and refracted sunlight from various angles, displaying an array of colors. The colorless colloid with numerous bubbles.

Consumption Backlash

After a brief chill, their mind would suddenly feel like exploding. Their body also seems to be contaminated as it turns somewhat incorporeal.

At that moment, their Soul Body, Astral Projection, and Ether Body are being absorbed and assimilated by their Body of Heart and Mind. Their entire person is like an amalgamation of pure thoughts that begin churning. They would feel the boundless Sea of Collective Subconscious which connected all living creatures, and they would sense the spirituality sky that stands in contrast.

They would experience the sense of alarm and maintain a sliver of lucidity and curb their instinctive urge to fuse into the “sea”. They would allow their consciousness to spread out in all directions before contracting like a rubber band.

Their exposed skin would be convered in scales, and their hair mutated.

As the exact appearance may vary. For Audrey, it is firm golden scales and the hair on her shoulders turned luxuriant and heavy, as though they were really made of gold.

After an unknown period of time, they would eventually find their inner self and see their appearance.

The aforementioned mutations would eventually recede and eventually recover. However, they would find their eyes appear clear, but deep down is a strange bottomless whirlpool. It made it difficult for others to shift their gaze away from them, easily drowning within them. This is a sign of dispersing spirituality.

Not only were there wrinkles on it, but there were also cracks that resembled eyes. As for the complicated, three-dimensional, illusory patterns, labels, and symbols that extended into the void, they were nearly identical to the Manipulator’s Beyonder Characteristics that had seen from before.

Advancement Ritual

Seek out a harpy in the Spirit World and sign a contract with it. Then, holding one tail feather, consume the potion amidst intense feelings of either joy or anger.

Ritual Essence

The entire ritual’s essence is to be immersed in a dream and be unwilling to wake up from it. Get pulled out of the dream via an external force, or else you might sleep forever or lose control and turn into a monster.

• A harpy is needed because it has the ability to give nightmares, it can snap people awake from their dreams.
• The Harpy can be replaced by something equivalent, for example Audrey used The Fool’s Angel's Embrace to remain lucid in the dream instead.

Consumption Backlash

Before they could feel the effects that the potion exerted on their body, they were suddenly startled before they regained consciousness.

They would see scenes of a perfect world, their hopes for the future fulfilled, their ideas fully realised. As for them, it is as if they had become a ruler of this world.

This is really wonderful... If it weren’t for me being clear-headed, I would’ve lost myself to this. I would’ve descended from my commanding position in my consciousness, taking a stroll with my parents, hunting with my brothers, and occasionally going to school to teach children... They would feel their Astral Projection rise up once again, breaking out of the confines of the hazy world.

They would immediately feel abnormal. They could no longer sense their body. Their entire being seems to have condensed into an idea as they merge into the illusory sea around them.
