Wendel is a member of internal affairs department of MI9. He is a Sequence 7 Interrogator of the Justiciar Pathway.

Appearance[]

His sideburns were deep-black and his brown eyes were calm. He didn’t have any unique features that anyone could remember, but he exuded comfortable vibes.

Background[]

Previously, he is a Feynapotter intelligence officer who was active in Desi Bay, and had contributed greatly. Due to his contributions, he was promoted to a Sequence 7 Beyonder and now holds a position within MI9's internal affairs department.

History[]

Wendel boards a steam locomotive to transport Alfred's confidential document from Desi Bay to Backlund and deliver it directly to the MI9 director.

During the journey, however, heavy rain forces the train to halt at an unfamiliar platform called "Utopia Station". Wendel is left with no option but to stay at the Irises Hotel. In the night, he hears a commotion next door, and a woman from the neighboring room, Tracey, knock on his door and confesses to a murder.[1]

Wendel becomes Tracey's witness. On his way back from the hospital to the hotel, he flipped the rain-wet confidential document and noticed the word "Utopia" on the document through the hole.[2] As he read the confidential report and realized something was amiss with Utopia, Wendel decided to leave the hotel and head back to the steam locomotive, departing from Utopia in the morning. He reported his experience to MI9.[3]

Later, Officer Biles visited Wendel's residence in Backlund and handed him a subpoena, requesting his presence in Utopia to testify in the Tracey homicide case on next two weeks.[4]

Two weeks later, on the trial date, Wendel mysteriously entered Utopia through the washroom of MI9's headquarters. Officer Biles arranged for him to stay at the Irises Hotel. [5] Late at night, when Wendel woke up, he was puzzled to find himself back at MI9's headquarters.[6]
